I make no allusions to having the skill to compete. However, RAZOR is supposed to be better than that. I saw them last year and they did really well. For them to not even take out a single ship is embarrassing.

It's not that Gallente ships are fail, since we've seen fits so far that worked out pretty well. I think it was bad circumstances for RAZOR and maybe they just didn't coordinate well or something.

I assumed Brutix couldn't get in range for blaster to shoot - same problem the ships been suffering for a long time.

Yeah. IDK what RAZOR was thinking... I was looking forward to that match and they totally let me down.

Razor FC and Captain here:

Yeah, last year we did well. We also were flawless in a few other smaller tourneys this year. Our setup today was solid, but we were a bit unlucky.

First, we fought Darkside, which are a very solid team. Congrats to them.

Secondly, in our practices, ECM drones were very effective against Minmatar setups, even with 2 ECCM's. We missed some crucial jams, the Darkside Sentinel neuted the tackle off of his Scimitar just before our Brutixes got there, and everything fell apart. The Sentinel changed the whole match, so Darkside owes that pilot something special. Lol

wasnt a problem of the ship itself but of terrible piloting

darkside sat still on the oneiros for a damn long time and the brutixes where just lolling around tryint to catche the scimitar (or atleast it seemed that way)

it wasn't a solid setup, it had brutixes, brutixes suck in tourney cos they're slow and have terrible effective range

Anyone who knows anything would have put Darkside. as the clear favourites. They are a much better pvp alliance.

Tells you something about ecm when people say that even with 2 eccm mods their ecm drones usually worked...

It was a good fight anyway and deffinitely props to the darkside sentinal pilot.

In my opinion the whole Alliance tournament would be 100% better if ECM wasn't allowed at all. Nothing worse (or more boring) than watching a permajammed team being slowly taken apart by 2 assualt frigs or something.

I have to agree with you there. There were a couple times like that.

ECM is a viable tactic that doesn't work all the time but did in this fight, if you think every fight is gonna be full on dps vs full on dps you didn't read the rules properly.

Simple facts, Darkside are a quality pvp alliance as are Razor and today Darkside were better.
