Forgotten? No. Moved on with our lives? Yes.

In the here and now we have what's shaping up to be (by some estimates) the largest multiplayer conflict in video game history. Only EVE is capable of hosting game play on such a massive and complex scale. The Mittani is but one of many figures in this conflict and he has a decentralized role. The Fanfest scandal and the FW LP Scandal have nothing to do with this.

Great, well thought answer. Thanks and +1.

Maybe SoCo would get more publicity if they actually undocked for once...

Well how many you have fighting them right now? If it is 500 vs. 500 and they don't undock, well that is just sad. If it is 1000 CFC+HB vs. 50 SoCo... well, do you blame them?

What about when theres 200 CFC+HB, and 500 SoCo? Or did we bring too many dudes again?

You can't blame any one, it's the game, you want to limit your losses and kill the most possible so every tactic is fair, who was the silly one ever thought war was for gentlemen?

Lol

I think you're missing the part where they refuse to fight when they outnumber us at least two to one.
Maybe it's because they know they'll still lose.

I'm being told they don't fight when they have spies telling them you guys have four times the numbers on standby ready to cyno in. Who would fight in those circumstances anyways? Blink

Anyways, the largest war in online gaming over in a few days if you are receiving zero resistance?

This doesn't seem likely. What i would find very likely is that they are just afraid to undock because they think we have all those forces ready to jump in at a moments notice.

Keep them guessing you see.. eventually hopefully we will get a decent fight as this is their very home, this is where they live, if they lose this they evac to lowsec or become someone else's pet, thus losing their very identity.

Turning into someone else's pet, what a way to go...

I've seen goons be a pet a few times during this game, did you lose your very identity as well?

You know when you go to the dentist, and you have to sit in that warm waiting room with the easy listening muzak with about 5 other people all doing their best to ignore each other. And you can hear the loud buzzing of the drill, and the air has that antiseptic smell that's kind of like some kind of mint, but like a plastic mint. And you're sweating, even though you KNOW that it's just a routine cleaning and xrays. But you just have this gut feeling, because you could swear you hear someone in the back freaking out over the sound of the drill?

That is where -A- comes from.

"possibly the largest multiplayer war in gaming history"

And yet again, it's Goons / TEST causing this free EVE publicity.

Come to think of it, has EVE been in the news this year, at all, without the CFC being involved?

If one were motivated enough, they could try and pull a conspiracy out of that.

It is I, the mighty decider of Facebook/Twitter/G+ content!

This pretty much nails it. Just an awesome video. I try to highlight each well done/funny/etc etc video. If you have one that's amazing, please send it to me @CCP_Manifest or evemail.

Glad to see mention of the EVE article. There should be several going out. That's me emailing press contacts saying... check out what our players are brewing. 100% them. The videos they make are awesome etc etc. In this case I paired it with an announcement of the AT X starting.

I really try to keep it real both in terms of PR and Social Media, but surely this is exactly the sort of player action that I should be promoting, I mean, right?!

Exactly.

Explain to me how the resource game was designed to favor Goons. Cause when the moon rebalance happened almost all the valuable moons were taken away from Delve, where Goons lived at the time.

I just ignored your comment about the "resource game" because it's the same argument I hear from people who don't actually know anything.

So you claim that goons were not living in deklein when they punished bob & took delve space away from them.... serious... if you dont have knowlage from a subject dont talk about it, expecialy if your wrong..... your rly making a fool out of yourselve trololol

What, which time? Goons have taken Delve, like, 3 times so far. I would like to hear a story all about how a rumor started going around that tech was going to be nerfed and we decided to make an effort to take some other moons from our old home and how that is CCPs fault.

Sounds like my ex.

Repeating what I wrote...

" I did however take the time to respond to them via the email address they provided to once again tell them how poorly designed the resource "game" in EVE was regarding the notion of evolving challenging groups who compete over the control of Zero. I also repeated that they cater to groups like the Goons entirely too much... much to the detriment of their game, which inhibits player retention and subscriber growth."

Now you know why your ex left you... YOU DON"T LISTEN. A problem you have in common with CCP.

*********

Of course you ignored what I said and of course I don't actually know anything.... because that is what people WHO DON"T LISTEN BELIEVE. If you had been listening, you might have heard that I didn't say the resources favored the Goons. I said CCP "catered" to the Goons.... if you can't see that in numerous ways the Goons and CCP have become entwined, you are blind. If you had been listening, you would have heard that the resource distribution should be designed to favor small, new groups in order to foster development of MANY competing Null factions... instead of monolithic slabs of conrete.

The current state of Null is the direct result of poor resource distribution design and game mechanics that reduce the game to a mere question of who has the largest number of troops. Strategic and tactical aspects of the game have been rendered irrelevent... it's just a question of numbers. The natural result of this is that a new subscribing individual or group has no alternative but to "join" the existing concrete slab. They cannot compete otherwise because there is no game mechanism to foster this. Don't answer this with a rant about how the Gooons destroyed BOB. The Goons came on to the scene with 5000 pilots which only proves my point that this game is nothing but a question of how many skilled pilots logged on at one time.

The Dominion moon change occurred when Goons were living in Delve and Querious, which were the best for the old bottleneck minerals that the Dominion change was attempting to fix. Furthermore, the new technetium bottleneck was unintended, so any suggestion that it was designed to benefit anyone in particularly is automatically invalid based on that alone, the ridiculousness of conspiracy theories aside.

Also, reported for conspiracy trolling. Enjoy your forum vacation.

Just glanced through replies, and seeing alot of people suggested it is because of a 'good' video.

I'm not sure if we're watching the same thing. This is quite a horrible video from several perspectives:
* Footage is quite decent, but editing nothing special at all (just text updates in bottom right, wow, great, you learned something special there)
* Music has been used in way too many videos to make way too average footage look way too epic, -1/10..
* All the hypocrisy, poor grammar and frankly, stupid comments. Starting movie with "we just wanted good fights" and then the video shows a blob of people. Yah really, blobs just lag it out versus blobs, if you want good fight you don't blob, that's step one. And when you bring a blob, obviously a blob will defend their stuff as you are a threat. I know I'm posting obvious **** here, but this is on a kindergarten level so you have to point obvious things out.. the kids seems to not get this.

I would probably never have bothered finish watching this vid even, if it wasn't for this thread. It's dull, bad, and almost every comment in the whole video is either stupid or unintelligible.

I'll have to give the creators some credit tho, for wasting decent footage by filling it with nonsense content. That's quite impressive. P
