Very nice presentation, but the readability is poor and the information if gives are 80% useless or very hard to read and understood. The 30 day charts is ****** up, the profit calculation is crazy how is calculated and it's just a mess to track a single items plus it gives you the profit of the stack and not item by item and if i select one item it just gives me a transaction page, I can do the same in EvE thank you.

if i buy an item on 29/06/2012 and than sell it on 30/06/2012 it tells me that the day before i had a loss cuz i didn't sell that item and the next day i have a over9000 profit because i sold an item but there is no track of me spending isk for it.

in one day i have a 1,3bil profit because for evevendor i have bought 4 items and sold 5.... To bad the fifth was bought the day before.

I would not pay for this mess.

MicioGatto

Thank you for your review. To explain how it works: If you buy an item on one day and sell the next day you will, of have a big win displayed on day two. But there is the possibility to determine the periods so every day or period can be set individually. Then you get the average price, the margin and the profit displayed for each item you have purchased or sold.

My concern is similar to what others have raised.

Trading is a very competitive arena, and you and the rest of your developers have access to all the trading data of all your customers.

In addition to paying you a monthly fee your customers are also sharing with you exactly which items they are trading, where they're trading them and how profitable those items are. This is not something any trader usually shares with other traders.

I'm not sure how such a service could work with the data out of my control. Maybe other traders feel different, but I wouldn't want all my trading data shared :)

Just discovered it about 15 minutes ago. What the hell, I said, why not.

I friggin' love it. Saves me from having to keep a track of purchases and whatnot. I've been trading for about half a week, using the tool for about 15 minutes (doesn't even have all my data yet, but I see where it fits and what it does have is awesome). You ask for an entirely fair monthly cost.

I think I'll be sticking with this for a while. Big smile

You'll easily make enough ISK running this service to PLEX your account, and that saving can go towards hosting cost. Saves us from paying IRL money for the service. This is a good business model!

EDIT: The fonts on the numbers are a bit weird and jittery (in Chrome at the moment, not sure about IGB). (EDIT3: zooming in one step on the browser unfucks the font, I think you might just be trying to squeeze things in too much. Boost fonts size a little, tighten up table layout if you're trying to fit a size limit) Also, why 1.234.567,89 format instead of 1,234,567.89 format for numbers? EVE uses the latter, as do most people.

EDIT2: Maybe some sort of API call to assets that will get the EVE-Central selling price for items (or similar) to estimate the value of hard assets so that stock in in orders can be viewed and accounted for on the balance tab (unless it already does, somehow...)

Despite my criticism, I do love what you've done. I just tend to focus on what can be improved. Don't take it harshly and ragequit <3

Market Reports (beta) implemented

Today, finally, the data that our market crawler evaluated. We pull price data and volumes from eve-central.com and eve-marketdata.com, then use it to create a forecast. The first version of the market reports can be found at here after login. We have launched a short test phase and will implement this new tool to EVEVENDOR. The market reports are not accessible from the demo account.

Well you've done something wrong, because I can access it and I'm still on a demo.

It's a cool tool though, but I find that most of the super-high rated things on the reports are just day-long spikes.

Thank you for the feedback, there is no error. You can access the Market Reports from any working account, but it is hidden in the "Demo Pilot" account for the reason users could abuse it without signing in.

All the data in the Market Reports are taken permanently form the Market, so day-long spikes are the current once. If anything changes it will be automaticly changed in the Market Reports.

We are still in development, the tool gives you an good overview about your transactions and tells you what item is worth to trade. You have an eye on your daily profit and the new market reports help you to find high profit items.

If you are a trader then 10mio per month is nothing compared to the comfort you get.

Hi there,

I've had a brief look into your tool and frankly I have to say it's a great approach, but it's lacking some basic functionality.

The sections for purchases / sales, balance and profit calculation including the charting is a step in the right direction and need some further upgrading to worth to be bought. As far as I can see this tool is designed for fast traders who want to have some history reporting, but that's not enough. In my eyes a great trading tool shall provide a functionality described below:

- real time data: I want the median prices for each item i've bought and want to know the possible profit (excluding broker fees and sales taxes) if sold for a certain price. The median price shall be able to be set manually in case history data does not provde enough info about it. Currently I'm gathering that info in excel buy synchronizing exported orderlists. Reading the cache is a more suitable solution for that to minimize the effort to sync data manually. Duno if that's even possible web based...

- at least a NAV report for a collection of chars would be fine. As for a speculator like me that's crucial functionality. There are only a few providers of trading tools who supply that functionality, but it's one of the easiest to implement. You just need:
- wallet sum
- value of sell orders (optionally take the market prices as the items are not sold yet)
- cash in escrow
- asset value sum (number of items x median total market value) -> sometimes eve-central provides strange total median values (one example: currently mechanical datacores and others are set way too expensive in total median price) -> take min sell order values or max buy order values optionally
- optionally: sum of contract prices (buy / sell)
- optionally: ISK invested in Jobs (get it from Joblist) -> fine for cap builders

- toping: NAV history evaluation - never seen that before, but it would be the greatest thing ever. My current issue as specualtor is, I'm updating my API info in certain tools and my NAV is bouncing, sometime more than 20B in one day, and I don't the ******* know why! So a NAV history evalutaion could help to identify which item is craeting the bounce or if any other issues, such as invalid prices from eve central, are manipulating my NAV.

Just some ideas bro.

Good work so far!

I really, really like the tool. It is very clean, and easy to use. The design is just wonderful.

Unfortunately, there is one feature that either hasn't been implemented, or I can't find. I NEED the ability to figure the money I make from contracts into my profits if it is to be accurate. I do bulk trading, and most of this is done through contracts. Without contracts as a consideration, my profit margins are completely inaccurate.

Is this something you plan to release in the future? If so, I wholly plan to purchase a year of your tool.

After looking a little further, I'd like to clarify. I understand that you can access the journal portion of the tool, but this doesn't figure into transaction or profit margin calculations. I understand that I could theoretically add it myself, but if I'm going to be paying for a service, I shouldn't have to. I hope this makes my point more clear. Thanks!

@Ricky Pickering: We are happy that your service is welcome and gets so much positive feedback, thank you! Your mentioned improvements are on our roadmap. We will try to implemet the contracts as soon as possible. Since it will require a change on the users API setting we will implement it is a little challenge. :)
