Yeah I heard about that strategy. Since I am in a Tengu that does not use drones, there is no way to do this alone, is there? Maybe I'll get an alt eventually but that's a ways away. Figures too, I found a prison camp today near where I found the fleet shipyard. These sites are not particularly rare.. or I was just unlucky to be lucky. P

You might try to warp out after the station targeted you and then come back. The station will target you for the second time so maybe it will work like switching. Worth a try.

Don't get your hopes out, you were just lucky that dayTwisted
Some days I get few good sites in 2-3 neighbouring systems and the next day I get nothing in 15 systems.
I heard that DED8s are more common than other sites but I cannot confirm nor deny that. I don't bother to journalize my expedition runs so I can't provide any sensible numbers.

I'm also a bit apprehensive over possibly encountering neut towers, or stasis towers. Also, in the prison camp ded, the final room plays host to two dozen frigates that evidently web and scram. Nasty for a Tengu. I have to be careful indeed.

There are no neuting towers there. As far as webbing goes - you will be webbed to a halt ( several webbing towers ) + the station itself applies heavy web so don't count on speed tanking.
Tackling frigs are about 50km from entry point so you have more than enough time to kill them before they get too close ( there are about 5 of those frigs ).

When using Tengu + other ship to deal with station repping :
The easiest way of doing this site is to kill everything outside of battleships/towers in final room and then focus on station. Incoming dps isn't that high initially because most rats use blasters and need to get close.
Kill them in that order :
tacklers > battlecruisers > cruisers > destroyers/frigs

After killing those ships and leaving only towers/battleships I had no problem with tanking and could focus on station itself.
