In response to overwhelming demand, I am expanding the Halaima miner bumping IPO by an additional 200 shares, for sale RIGHT NOW! Shares selling for 1 million a piece, send your isk to James 315 and include "stock purchase" in the reason slot.

WHY ANOTHER ROUND?

Normally I wouldn't do this, but I obviously miscalculated by greatly underestimating the amount of demand for this IPO. The first round of 100 shares went insanely fast, with everything selling out in less than 24 hours. Ever since then, I have been swamped by investors wanting to know if there are any shares left or if they can reserve shares for the next round. And in fairness to these potential investors, 24 hours from announcement to closing isn't much warning. If you happened to be away from the forums for a day, you were out of luck, and that was never my intention.

I would also add that the miners of Halaima are much more willing to purchase mining permits than I anticipated at this early stage. I probably underestimated the profitability of the venture by quite a bit; we'll see.

So here's the deal: I am releasing another 200 shares for purchase effectively immediately, for a total of 300 issued. I could be wrong, but I believe that should be more than enough to cover all demand for the near future. I know several investors requested shares to be reserved in the event of this second sale, but I haven't set anything aside for them. I think they will probably all have ample opportunity to purchase the shares they want before we run out. If something crazy happens and everything is sold out in a day like last time, I'll consider making special arrangements for those individuals.

For now, let the games begin! It's one million per share, selling on a first-come, first-serve basis. As always, this thread will be updated with vital information as needed.

Maybe I missed something in the original thread, but other than buying some GSC to anchor as billboards, I still don't understand what the initial money was needed for, much less more money now than you initially anticipated needing.

Edit to add: The only answer I see there is "To make this look more legitimate." Was the first 100m not making you look legitimate enough?

I don't think too many people actually thought of this as a business that will generate revenues. Apart from the fact that it borders on harassment and may be stopped at any time by CCP, I don't think he ever gave any kind of payout schedule. That aside, it was a great read, full of bravado and gumption and made my day.

Some things in EvE are worth more than potential profits and I feel my isk was well spent.

ps: send the shares already! It will be great to have a piece of the history to add to my collection.

TIME LIMIT NOW IN EFFECT

Okay so when we did Round 1 of this IPO, shares were selling like hotcakes. We know this. Everything sold out in less than 24 hours. I decided to rectify this problem by releasing another 200 shares to be sold, in the hopes that everyone who wanted to participate in this venture would have plenty of time to do so.

This time, shares did not sell like hotcakes. Instead, you blew up the hotcake factory and batter is dripping from the remaining ceiling tiles.

Before I could even update this thread to reflect the additional purchases, you people already bought more than 50% more shares than I was releasing. WTF. Why must you turn my IPO into a house of lies?

So here's the deal. Everyone who bought shares while I was asleep will be credited with those purchases. In addition, I will be keeping this IPO open for share purchases until the time limit runs out. I would set a limit to shares that you can buy, but apparently you people like to break those things.

At 00:00 EVE time on July 1st (that should be 20:00 or 8:00pm EDT June 30th, please correct me if my timezoning is off), the IPO will be closed to new purchases. The line will be drawn in the sand, and I will not be accepting further purchases for an indefinite period of time.

I will periodically update this thread. Get your share purchases in, relax, and behave yourselves
