Job installing bugs =>materials lost without a trace

-When installing a t2 ship blueprint, all required R.A.M.s are first assembled and used up after that. Optimization for industry based performance. I noticed this because I saw them being assembled and used up and have a screenshot of it.
-If a player takes one of those assembled R.A.M.s or the server is taking too long due to server side lag spike, all used up materials are gone without a trace. GM's can't even find the entry that you attempted to start installing the job, eventhough they claim they should be able to. This is a serious oversight as materials can be lost without a trace.

I reported this over 1.5 years ago and they closed the bug report that they were unable to reproduce this and they it might have been fixed in the mean time. a.k.a. we don't care about bugs that are very to reproduce even it means it materials can be lost without a trace and incorrect logging.

Let's hope a dev reads this and might be concerned about this and actually takes action (feel free to contact me by eve mail or regular mail if you do).

I just reread the GM Spirals reply and he was fully willing to accept something out of the ordinary happened. He claimed nothing was sent to the server about the job starting installation process. Eventhough I did see R.A.M.s being assembled and used up. The bug report was still closed.

Noone agrees with me that a log entry should be made before the process starts to consume materials? It could even be done as a seperate job state so it doesn't take up any additional storage space?

Would love to hear a dev about it.
