I am not one for speeches or long drawn out orations. More one to listen and absorb before I speak. Who am I? I am a gamer of on form or another for almost 18 years, everything from sports to table tops to PC to console. I am a full time member of the work force as well as a college student. I am announcing candidacy for the Council of Stellar Management because I feel I can represent a section of the gaming community who doesn't spend all their time in game or on the forums. I live a life of balances and hope to bring that to the Council. With that being said here are some of my points that I stand by in New Eden.

-It is my belief that veteran players want to see new and cutting edge content, but do not want corners cut in their release which weakens the integrity of the game. Eve has developed a reputation for it's level of quality when it comes to its affordable game and the subsequent FREE expansions. That being said, it is my belief that the veteran player would rather see a high quality content release over a quickly pushed one that requires patching every other day following release.

-It is my belief that new players are looking for a game that's quicker to get into than Eve currently is. From conversations with friends who have tried the Eve trial, the 14 or 21 days is hardly enough time to truly experience all Eve has to offer. While forthcoming DUST will help hold console gamer interests, something should be addressed to those who may be migrating from the any number of other free to play MMOs out there. To that extent, it is my belief that introducing a High Sec NPC element to the Faction Warfare system, will allow a 14/21 to truly feel the conflict that rages around the galaxy of New Eden.

-It is my belief that the new User Interface is more streamlined than the old. The integrated inventory display allows players to restock ships on the fly in stations without having to constantly rotate ships in and out of service. The separate button for the skill queue on the neocom allows for on the fly adjustment of skills with out navigating through the windows. It has come to my attention that CCP has shown a lack of attention to the criticism around the changes, and I am of the belief that a company that makes games, especially one as fluid as Eve, developers need to be constantly aware and willing to take into account such criticism and use community representatives to assure the community that they are here and listening.

If there are anymore points you would like to hear my thoughts on, please feel free to post them here. I will answer any and all questions honestly and publicly.

Why are you campaigning for CSM 10 months before the election?

I'm not the only one. Others are also announcing candidacy, or already have.

Perhaps he's not satisfied with the way you are doing your job. Why complain about him campaigning - its what this forum is for.

Nothing wrong with starting early, especially if everyone else is doing it.

I, for one, need to find my 'Vote for Rynar' oversized novelty button now.

I thought I'd hire the excellent services of Mr. Fielding and Mr. Anderson.

I wasn't saying he isn't allowed to do so, I just wanted to know why.
