Gotta admit no matter who you like or don't its gonna be epic.

The only thing that's going to be epic is the bad posting related to the non events. And even then, it's nothing that hasn't been done or seen before.

This is what gets to me. We use to get news feeds regarding this kind or thing, it why I got into eve. Now all we get from ccp is aj add to buy a plex that has 0.0001% discount.

CCP get you're sh!t together and start reporting alliance conflict again.

The problem with news feeds are they are pretty biased. Yes, they did say "something" happened, but they were largely inaccurate. It was more or less like watching FOX news.

No he was right the first time. Fox news is infinitely worse than any other news station. Not saying the other news stations are good, just Fox is that bad. It's kinda like AIDS (Fox) is worse than Herpes (rest of the news), but I don't wanna catch either.

I'm seeing some similarities here to a certain american civil war a few hundred years ago... Rich and well armed north starts messing with the affairs of the southern collective of states. Southerners get pissed - they're not all friends and yeah sometimes they like to blow each other up in the name of fun - but these upstarts from up north are enough to get them to drop their petty squabbles and concentrate on Evicting the invaders so they can go back to shooting each other for lulz.
I the rest of the war continues like the Ole' civil war I expect to see CFC lose a bunch of ships a bunch of times until hitting one big victory that the SoCo doesn't recover from. After that, someone settles in Delve before deciding it's too hot and smells a bit, leaves and the south is left pretty much un-changed by the whole affair.

Ah finally , thanks for the explantions . Been trying to fgure out who is with what group, and somethings make a lot more sense now. .

I watched the videos from the pc gamer guy , the fights ive seen so far dont seem like the ones i had envisioned.

Have to admit the really big drake fleet looked awesome in one of the first videos.

Oh well maybe there will be a cool fight where its more even in numbers on both sides and some big and small ships to come.

To put it simply, PL/TEST wanted gudfites. We dropped a few SBUs for lulz, and instead of getting those fights, we got sov.

Now we're all like, what do we do with this thing?

If PL/TEST really wanted 'gudfites' they would NOT set blue 35% of the EVE population.

Update from the Delve front:

Hero of the Legion Wrik Hoover (and his merry band of Tornadoes) have been camping their junk off in 319, 0wning everything that undocks for the past 4-5 days+.

Yesterday, SoCo had a big CTA that turned out to be "fake" and designed to ice Honeybadger/CFC, and has largely left their opponents free to run buck wild reinforcing everything in sight in Delve (partially due to being camped into 319).

Today was the second to last timer for C3N, Nulli Secunda's home system (IIRC). Not wanting to lose their home without a fight, SoCo came with nearly 700 pilots to defend the ihub. Unfortunately for them, around 1100 Honeybadger and CFC pilots curbstomped them, though SoCo did manage to down four PL heroes who were flying dreads.

TiDi had a heavy effect in this battle, significantly limiting casualties on both sides, since things move VERY slow in 10% dilation.

Exact numbers are hard to pin down, but PL.com killboard has 141 kills to 9 losses, TEST killboard has 156 kills to 41 losses, and Goon killboard shows 43 kills to 27 losses (which doesn't seem right, but I might not know their killboard voodoo well enough).

Madprops to SoCo for bringing the heat even when victory seemed (and was) out of reach.

Happy 4th of July, USA NUMBA 1

(and see you tomorrow SoCo ^_^)

This looks pretty good, with the exception of not reflecting reality. The Northern forces have a minimum 5 - 1 advantage. Epic, well sort of, as the Southern forces are getting plenty of kills. Sincerely being a SoCo guy, I'm having the time of my life. No shortage of targets, no shortage of ISK, I actually could give a $hit bout the SOV thing. I'm having a great time.

In my opinion, the total disappointment is PL. I would bet 1000 Dollars if you could get Sheedo, and Grath alone in private they too would express there disappointment in there once great organization. They use to be able to do things like this on there own. They use to be the ones fighting at a 5:1 disadvantage and winning. I figure those days are gone forever, as now there just simple another corp in one of the largest blobbing forces in Eve History. Funny how things change. We should all sing a song in there honor, something like the last of the Brunnan G.

PS. this link might help clear up a bit, in regards to reality. Please make sure to page down, to see what I'm talking about here.
