[BOND #5] 10B - 7% interest/30 days (CLOSED)

Greetings MD investors!

Recent events have opened up some nice opportunities for some marketeering with decent markups. Due to those events, I am looking to raise some extra capital to take my share and play in those markets.

Summary
Bond size: 10B
Rate: 7%
Collateral: None
Start date: June 28th
Maturity date: August 27th

Why?
As stated, I am looking to expand my activities to marketeering. This bond is separated from my T2 manufacturing bond and will probably not be renewed at the end of the 60 day period since the opportunity is limited in time (a few weeks at most).

Terms
The bond would start on June 28th and pay 7% interest for each 30 day period. Please invest in 500M increments. If you want to withdraw early we can work something out but you would loose the month's interest. Depending on the events I reserve the right to offer an extension for a few more weeks but I doubt it will be necessary.

Risks
No profit: Odds of doing no profit is nearly impossible. Doing low profits could be possible if the events change dramatically in the next few days. Which means I would get stock with large supplies that I would have to liquidate. This is easily mitigated and I do have the capital to repay the bond if I am unable to sell fast enough.
Wardec: Shouldn't have any effect since I never need to undock.
Quit EVE: I don't see myself quitting EVE any time soon.
I get hit by a bus: Let's all hope this doesn't happen.

FAQ.
Q: Why no collateral?
A: I don't have any assets worth collateral. My current NAV is around 20B most of it being ISK and/or raw materials and low value BPOs. I also own a high sec POS and several PVP ships.

Q: What about your other bond?
A: The other bond is a manufacturing bond (BOND #3). I have cleared this new bond with all my other investors.

With all due respect Golkan, there's a reason why Ponzi schemes (and pyramid schemes in general) are so effective and can generate revenues for decades.. just as long as new bond issues roll out and new investors come in :)

I'm not saying this is a Ponzi scheme, but in all respects.. sure looks like it. All good I guess as long as your not the guy holding the worthless bond at the end I suppose.

I'm also trying to fathom why you want to float a bond if you have 20 B in liquid cash.

Don't know this guy (Golkan) from Adam, but an axiom of investing / business is "use other peoples money'. My guess is that he is following that or the 'investors' are him and he is establishing a 'positive track record' for a future scheme. I hope not.

As discussed with the investors, this bond has been extended for an additional 30 days. Interest payments for this period has been sent to all investors and principal was sent back to Taji Taka as she has not responded if she wished to extend or not.

Taji Taka's share of 1.5B is available if anybody want's to get in in the next 24h.
