I played it, it was fun for a while as far as zombie stuff goes.

But i'v played and loved the Arma series years before DayZ made it as popular as it now. Hopefully with all the extra money BI studios is earning with the surge in Arma 2 sales from DayZ will help with the development of Arma 3.

BTW Anyone else play Arma2 with A.C.E mod (yes I'm a huge mil sim fan) or has everyone converted to DayZ?

I forgot to add that BI Studios are planning a stand alone DayZ game aswell.

I'll quote a funny example from a story I read on the forum.

I found this rather amusing.


I found it a depiction of common day to day human life, at least where I come from, where you get shot for a cellphone or pair of sneakers and theres no zombie apocalypse happening X

Gripe against my former country and the lack of law and horrendous crime wave apart, all of you made me research a bit into DayZ and ... well, Im buying ArmaII soon off steam to try it once Im off work.

As a side note, I know some of you might very well be shining examples of goodness and purity and paragons of human spirit in RL , but in RL I have seen more than quite a few people that you used to label "friends" transform into ugly monsters when no one is around and they know they can get away with almost anything, including murder. As a Psychologist myself I have always wondered at this strange "click" that goes into people´s heads once they know no one will watch them and steal, maim or hurt others for whatever reason. I never ask the why I only ask WHEN ...
