Like really.

Before they introduced this stupid launcher I could download a 500mb patch in <5 minutes and it would install in less than 2.

Its been about 25-30 fukin minutes.

No, it is the launcher. It is a half coded POS that barely works and has brought no good or useful features from day one.

And why in the **** can you not use it to load up both Tranq and the test server Sisi like every other MMO launcher? You know, as opposed to having to have a second installation of the same damn game!

Maybe because the test launcher is part of the testing eh? Getting its own updates that correspond to sisi updates that currently wont work for TQ.

The download is fine and patching is reasonably fast.

The "creating *win.patch" section is complete bollox though - I've just run it 4 times on 4 machines and its taken 10 minutes or so on each of them. Crucible launch was fine, no delays on that, just seems like every 2 or 3 patches it just goes to ****.

From what I recall hearing from devs when it first came out was that the very first time you run it takes the longest cause it's indexing your EVE install and such and finding everything. Every time after that it's pretty quick and I myself found that I downloaded that latest large SiS patches pretty quick too.

Because it's not the same? The client for SiSi has a different patch level, to the client for TQ

Well If you would stop downloading pr0n, maybe you wouldn't have so many keylogers and virises cloging up your bandwith?P

It's slow for me because my ISP is a time guardian of 1997.

This patch required 5x the time all other patches that have been made under the new launcher. Something was definitely different.

Took half an hour for me, but my desktop is not exactly well-cooled, and it needs a cleanout. And it's a hot day, so it's suffering a bit.
