Solar Systems Excluded from the "Wormhole Network"

If anyone knows for sure it would be very helpful to me to know which solar systems are not eligible to have wormholes ... So far I've got


  • All Jove Solar Systems
  • All "CCP Reserved" Solar Systems
  • Jita
  • Chaven
  • Sehmy
  • Emrayur
  • Kisogo
  • Todaki
  • Amsen
  • Duripant
  • Bourynes
  • Cistuvaert
  • Ammold
  • Ryddinjorn
  • Hulm


Anyone know of any others? or know of any on that list that are in fact eligible to have wormholes in them?

I knew Jita had this exception. I had no idea of the others. What's their significance?

Had wormholes connecting to virtually every system in your list with the exception of Jita and Chaven, the latter is probably just random chance.

Example, in a C2 the B274 connected to Emrayur 3 times this year, Kisogo 2 times, Duripant 1 time, Ryddinjorn 1 time. You get the idea.

Why do you think they're "not eligible"?

As a noob in bourynes I scanned 3 or 4 whs before moving on to different systems. just because theres not a wh in a given system on a couple of days does not mean that there are never whs connecting there.

I suspect Jita is the only capsuleer-accessible system that does not get wormholes.

Thank you all for the replies ... Those other systems are in fact the "rookie systems". However, I've also had it confirmed that to my surprise they are eligible to have wormholes so the only ones I have that are now excluded are


  1. The Jovian Regions
  2. The CCP Reserved Regions
  3. Jita

i know dodixie gets WHs.

I also know that we've killed noobs in our friendly welcoming patch of lawn that their exploration guides forget to tell them is lethal. Those guides always forget to tell them that WH POSes will pop them just for looking.

We had an exit to Rens once. I also recall that this particular exit was closed by some random guy from the outside in a single hurricane over the course of two hours... Not sure what he was trying to achieve by doing that.

I have had multiple exits to jita before. Just remember they do not last long at all. This was about a year ago so not sure if it's been changed.

We were in Chaven a few days ago.

I always educate the locals in noob systems, including with battle industrials, and then given them a couple million ISK pat on the bum after farming their tears. We even had a guy come back to get killed again under the mistaken assumption it was 1M ISK per time we blew him up.
