Joining Eve Serenity Server

Hello recently I discovered that the Chinese server Serenity does not have T2BPO's installed in game and CCP has also not supported or gifted certain players in other early corp and game developments. Are there any western English speaking corps playing on Serenity server because instead of moaning about how unfair Tranquillity is with it's t2BPO's I was thinking about either joining or starting an English speaking corp on Serenity.

Is anyone else interested in joining serenity or forming an English speaking corp/alliance there or can I get an invite to yours if you already have one?

Does anyone have information on this? Can I transfer my chars from my Tranquillity account to a serenity account or do I have to create new chars there? Can you transfer ISK from a Tranq char to a Serenity Char? Is serenity all in Chinese language or is there an English option?

I believe you're free to try and login if you can read Chinese - AFAIK there is no English version available.

Chribba did log in and play there for a short time but I cba to find it in the old forum archives.

Also, Serenity hasn't experienced much uptime in the past three months. That alone is likely your biggest hurdle, even if you do understand Chinese.

Why did they fail?

It's a shame about it being down so much, why is this?

As for learning Chinese most things will welcome natural with out being able to read Chinese like the market items from picutes and just using dictionary when needed. Ship names from using D scan and other important D-Scan items would need to be learned but at least your learning something useful.

I played on the Chinese server once. You know what empire is like there? Null with rules. Talk about empty space. Very few players... and watch the language. Bans = RL Jail time. True story. Big smile

heh... actually. What if the goons took a rifter fleet to china and burned Jita? Would it be an international incident? I mean... not to give them any ideas buuuuut....

Don't be alarmed about the uptime, that's an error on EVE-Offline's part as Serenity changed IP and I didn't notice.

To cut through the OP's incredibly-subtle veil, and to the real meat of the OP's equally-subtly-hidden intent:

T2 BPOs are a non-problem, they do not need removal, and they almost certainly never will be. Assuming the Serenity-population has its own forums, then do you want to transfer over there to access those forums, before you get perma-banned for spamming/trolling on these ones?

I too would rather learn a new language than be forced to play in a sandbox with people who are not on a completely 100% level playing field with me. Instead of buying their shiny shovels, I'd rather cry that they have them, then go play in the mud.

Yeah for sure the only reason I want to play on Serenity is because it does not have T2BPO's and is much more sandboxy than Tranquillity. Why does this bother you? If I can get on Serenity I'd stop moaning about T2BPO's as they would be of no relevance to my EVE game what so ever. Yes I'd be glad to learn a little Chinese and even starting with new 0 sp chars would be better than tranquility.

So if anyone has links to the serenity sub page I'd be grateful and if serenity does body invites I'll give you the free plex too.

The Serenity server closed about 2-3 months ago
