After the restart very recently, this is my error.

There was an unexpected error while retrieving update status:

Unable to download file /test/evepremiumpatch267590_test.exe from the server.
Error: url //cdn1.eveonline.com/test/evepremiumpatch267590_test.exe not found

Here is the fix: ((STICKY THIS PLEASE))

1. Open eve launcher
2. Settings
3. Eve Client Settings
4. EVE online repair tool
5. The launcher should go away after a warning message
6. "There is a new build available" - > yes
7. Wait 5 mins to make sure its done
8. Open eve launcher
9. Play
