So I was talking to a friend who's corp is joining FW and explaining some mechanics

me > we are the enemy of your enemy!!!
me > just don't show up as "ally"
them > don't you show up as friendly militia?
me > nope
them > o
them > that sucks
them > why not
me > off faction militia doesn't show friendly
me > wish I knew
me > CCP haven't answered that question in a long long time
them > o
them > stupid ccp
me > we both fight the same war targets
them > you need to bring that up at next fanfest
me > It was brought up at the LAST one!!!

So I DO ask the question - we can now have allies under the "normal" war dec mechanics. So why don't the caldari and amarr show up as allied and the minmitar and gallente show up as allied?

The LP system for plexing/pvp kills works that way. An amarr and caldari get their factions LP for taking a gallente plex and for taking a minmitar one.

Surely this wouldn't be too hard to implement???
