I'd like to propose the introduction of a new module:

Remote Shield Recharge Amplifier I
High Slot
CPU: 40 tf
PG: 1 MW
Activation: 32 GJ
Duration: 8 s
Optimal Range: 10 km
Remote shield recharge rate bonus: 15 %

Prerequisites:
Energy Grid Upgrades I
Shield Emission Systems I

Reason:
There are currently ways to remotely armor repair and shield boost, but nothing to allow that kind of teamwork for shield recharge tanked ships.
There are many ships like the Drake for example that have a spare high slot which would be ideal for this new module.

I think one big reason this module is not available is because it multiplies the currently available amount of recharge. Logistics ships add their own amount of repair, they don't multiply the repair that a ship has.

A shield recharge tank is also a resistance buffer. So any shield transfer ship can help it recharge faster.

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."

Shield recharge tank is at least as much about hp as resistance.
Also, shield transfer uses too much PG on a Drake. To effectively field spidertanking Drakes a module like the above is required.

How many of these would you need to use to have a drake's shields recharge in less than a second?

That question would dictate the number of logistics large fleets now have.
