More tank for my PVE Astarte?

My Astarte is great, 913 dps, and damn fast. I normally speed tank, but when held down by webs or i cap out (which happens often, since i'm still getting used to a cap-stable ishtar/kronos) its defenses tend to melt pretty damn quick. Now, to combat that, i use EANM's, instead of active hardeners. However it's still not a enough. And since i'm poor (>50m in my wallet), I can't dump isk into it.

Swapping MWD for AB could fix all of your cap problems, as your cap pool will be better and your cap use lessened.
The downside is you gonna go slower, so, your choice.

That single reactive hardener takes more cap than two regular hardeners and it won't give nearly the same resist bonus. Get rid of that and an EANM for two rat-specific hardeners. Presto, tank is covered.

Yeah, MWD makes your syg radius bigger, = take more damage. [edit here] AB and blasters might be painfully slow and is not common on blaster boats

Zhilia was spot on about rat specific hardeners.

Meta IV stuff might fit better AND use less cap. Not sure on this point. You can look it up.

Dead Space/Faction repper is noticeable difference. When you can afford it, Astarte deserves it
