Cap batteries and NPC's

Yea I know maybe an odd question. I know that you cannot "cap out" NPC's but i was curious about the effects of the cap batteries reflecting against NPC's that neut.

I understand that the reflection will essentially drain their cap (again not helpful against NPC's). But what I could not find out is what effect that has on your ship.

So for example, when you win the roll and successfully reflect. Does that also negate the neut's cycle on you? or do you get neuted less, as a result of some being reflected back? Or do you still get neuted the full amount for the cycle?

Obvously in the first 2 instances it seems a cap battery would still be useful against NPC's since it lowers the amount the neut affects your ship.

thanks

I asked exactly this during testing before the changes were released. No response. I haven't had a chance to test it myself either. It's entirely possible that no one really knows at this point.

Try it out not too many people who frequent this will know I imagine. A lot of fits don't use cap batteries in their "standard" PVE setups and op for cap boosters instead. Be sure to tell us your results.
