Sure you can still metagame on the forums. You just can't post rumor threads. Anything other is still fair game.

Compare to, dunno, canflipping in starter systems. A specific exception that CCP doesn't want you to do. Doesn't mean you can't canflip anywhere else in the game.

While discussing moderation is not allowed, and neither is ranting, please pay more attention to the wording of the "no flames" bit: if the discussion is clearly mutual, it's not a flame. It is possible to meta game with these rules in place, you just have to get creative. No longer will bad posting along the lines of "Foobar is a black Irish terrorist tinfoil hat wearing Jew" be allowed. You will have to resort to intellectual debate and cunning linguistics.

Other meta gaming options include luring foolish others into breaking the rules, as has always has been the case.

I did that last time and the reply was really funny, but given my habit of Tin foil hatting, I would be sending 40 petitions a day, and then waiting weeks for a response.

About time if you ask me. Lots of useless posts these days. I usually bug a certain someone for their "excessive" use of the banhammer on closing threads but its really needed more often than not.
