I support the 1.1 changes to the ally system.

My alliance has nothing to do with the CFC, in fact we blew a bunch of CFC guys up a few days ago for lolz.

Please stop with the CFC-CCP goonswarm collaboration conspiracy posts. Pretty please?

I don't care about the actual changes. I am, however, disgusted with the use of demagoguery in an attempt to restrict CCP's ability to help make hisec better for hisec focused players.

I am not in the CFC.

I'm in the CFC and I actually liked the idea of random scrubs locking themselves into a perpetual wardec with Goonswarm

Considering that Goonswarm has won EVE, many of the people we'd normally refer to as pubbies have picked up our culture and jargon. This is part of EVE's "Cultural" victory condition, one of the many victory conditions under which we have won the game.

Well, since you've been so focused on Goonswarm federation you've neglected to consider the little guy.

Imagine I run a shell corp called "Mega Miners" that appears to be a bunch of stereotypical hi sec carebears in shiny stuff.

When you dec my shell corp with "xxxDeathMerczxxx" to go waste some carebears, I can use the ally system to pull my real pvpers, aka the defenders, into the dec. Best part is I can make a dec mutual so that you are forever locked into the war until we're done with you.

Even I think that this is griefing, and that should say something. I don't care about people dogpiling on goons as much as the shell corp scenario.

But what if you WANT to give them a hard time?

It would backfire massively. This would make life harder for hi sec war dec corps.

But I can't help but agree with Jade Constantine, who believes passionately in ~consequences~ and infinite wars that no one can leave, ever, without disbanding your corp/alliance.

The whole "it's just a CFC alt" strikes me as just yet another of Jade's subject avoidance techniques. In another thread, he kept trying as hard as he could to derail the thread by pointing out, repeatedly and explicitly, how we supposedly had a wiki page with a certain set of allegations against his person, he even kept giving out instructions on how to find the "proof" (which, of course, was on a "highly reputable site" (not really)).

And now, he's going to keep claiming that everyone against his position is a CFC alt.

Cyno's lit, bridge is up, but one pilot won't be jumping home.
