So, today the doctor told me...

...that I probably should start thinking about a future WITHOUT using a keyboard and a mouse for long periods at the time. Shocked

I've had some serious surgery done to my right shoulder two years back, and it's starting to act up again pretty bad. It affects my back and neck as well, so using the left hand isn't really an option. I probably need to change my line of work to something not computer based, but I don't wanna give up gaming. Don't take away my EVE!

So the questions is, anyone here playing EVE, or any other game for that matter, using some of the other types of equipment that is out there? Been looking into some of these large, external trackpads (like the magic trackpad from Apple) or some of the macro based keyboards/mice that might make me vary movement a bit more. But I'm not sure it will help much.

I'm looking for something that frees me up a bit form the very static position you're in infront of a computer. Something that makes me move the hand(s) even more than a normal mouse/keyboard combo. Or something with very little movement. Ideally I should have something like the screens Tom Cruise were using in Minority Report Big smile

There are touch screens out there, but not sure how viable that would be? Does EVE even support these all-in-one rigs with touch screens? The one I've tried was not really that responsive to touch, but it was kinda old.
