Best areas in low sec for solo fights ?

Thought I would ask you guys in here where would be a good place to head out to for solo fights, dont mind if its against pirates or anyone really but like to try and avoid big gangs to start my career off.

Im only on 850,000 skill points, I got Caldari frigate to 5, small hybrid weapons to 5, engineering to 5 so need to get a few shield and speed skills over the next week or so and then Im ready for some fights, hopefully some wins but most likely dying a fair bit .

Definitely not molden heath region currently... Might have some luck in the areas around providence. Gomati and Assah come to mind.

I read these forums and what I can gather is Eve University is in molden heath with large gangs so I wont go there right now. How good is it to hunt around the outer lower sec regions of faction warfare away from the main contested systems ?

Thank you, I toyed with the idea of faction warfare but wouldnt want to join one of the big blobby corps, I want to get in and out as fast as possible and then try and find another fight. The idea of plenty of pvp is appealing, just not the blobs.

Could check the areas nearby, the map-browser can offer some ideas of traffic and activity. There's other means of scouting for certain activities as well via Killboards. Find a location that seems to be fairly active in that sort of combat and go in screaming.

Or...just start roaming until something ends up in your crosshairs.

Black rise is sort of good, but a lot of it is just FW farming alts that wont fight or you kill while they are afk. The militias are pretty blobby, particularly the caldari, but ive gotten some good fights in the area.

Fw is the least blobby it has ever been (at least it is on the Amarr/Minnie side). Get a hangar full of Merlins, move to The Bleak Lands, and pick a side.

Placid, Verge Vendor, Essence, Metropolis around the Tabbetzur upto Eifter areas. The area around Amamake is often ok, the system itself has sadly died off for solo PvP mostly.

A popular route to roam for me personally is starting in Egghelende and roaming all the way to Covryn with the autopilot route set to 'prefer less secure', I pretty much always find a fight somewhere along the route.

Also notable exception in the Caldari Militia are BLOOM. they're pretty cool. And the Gallente seem slightly less worse for farmers then the Caldari.

R1FTA currently has a presence in Eugales, and will honour 1v1 if agreed in advance (ask in local or "The Autocannon" public channel), as will The Tuskers in Hevrice.

Or roam between high/low sec border systems and see what you can find along the way if you prefer the hunt.

Molden Heath is excellent for solo pvp. If you are not a pirate - uni will not agrees unless stressed first.

Rancer. Yeah, just don't warp directly from one gate to another. Neg Ten almost always has a smartbombing Rokh that sits in a safespot between gates that will kill a frig as you pass through it's grid. Lost a frig and pod to them once because of that.

No you didn't. You lost it on a gate like every other fool who flies gate to gate through Rancer without using a safe within Dscan range of the gates.

Sujarento - Hysera pocket was always fun. Down south in Mamet area too. Rancer - Hagilur pocet might produce some good fights from the locals

^^This. I run into the R1FTA guys around Black Rise, always low numbers, and always a good fight when I've engaged them. Tuskers are rumored to be the same way, but I never seem to run into them Roll

Best place to start is Minmatar lowsec. Head up for Gusandall - Eifer - Hrondedir area you will find many solo fights here. Trust me i live there almost 2 years now with constant flashyness on my back.
Also its huge lowsec pocket where you can easly go almost 50 jumps directly in lowsec from Rens area to Jita area :)

If you want to learn i can scale down to fight you exac same ship type.
If not with me you can try: Cpt Haoc, Kashmyta, Slick Durous or legend of solo PvP - Kane Rizzel - all of them are honorable and wont gank you when duel is accepted by both of you nor any of us help them if they will be about to die.

Avoid Bosena - Egbinger area. Last time i was there there were huge Eve Uni blobs 70 -80 ppl camp gates.
