To answer your question, you re-ship and undock while still under GCC from your previous crimes. P
But that is not what happened here. You can be guaranteed the station guns would get on the killmail before a hulk with a couple of drones would.

Either failed manual post, or that thorax really did try to gank him with drones only.

These kills do appear as api verified kills on eve-kill (http://eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&view=kills&plt_id=231825&m=10&y=2011)

or on Raidens killboard which is also api verified here

They happened during the Gallente Ice Blockade thingy and yes it is very possible to gank gankers using macks.
