I hired 3 merc corps and 1 of the seams to be fake .

Moar Tears the dit not make any kills the contacted me to drop the war and refunt the isk but dident refund watch out for this.

Another posible Fake merc corp is The Skunkworks the just dont want to have any contact any more after the wardec srarted the dont kill the dont talk and the dont refund. I was contacted by Psychotic Monk

OP needs to chill the **** out. Out of all the groups he hired, we're the only legitimate group, yet he thinks a callout thread is a good way to go.

1) The other two groups you hired, Skunkworks and Some terrible merc startup, one of them straight up scammed you and the other one is just lying to you about being able to successfully complete their contract. Though the other group thats lying is so bad at what they do that not only do I not remember their name, they should feel bad for taking a paid contract, period.

2) We decided to give it a go despite the fact we don't consider ourselves mercs, after a week of no kills on the target it became obvious that the guys you hired us against fly too tight and are too well scouted to be good targets for mercs, so I called off the war and offered to give the second weeks ISK back. Its hilarious to me that you call us out on not being mercs and how we didn't get any kills, despite the fact that out of all the groups that you hired we're the most competent at what you wanted us to do, which also means realizing when a contract is going to be a bust and not leading the contractor on.

3) I told you several times via mail that I don't have access to the alliance wallet and to be patient. Only a handful of people in the alliance have access to that for obvious security reasons and they haven't been on. I can't force someone to log onto EVE online, especially when I don't have their RL contact info.

4) We're not mercs, our reputation to be hireable doesn't matter. If I wanted to straight up scam you, I would and I could, and there'd be no repercussions for us in terms of continued service within the merc community. If I wanted to straight up scam you I would have NEVER offered to give you any ISK back in the first place. The reason I offered to give you ISK back for the second week and not continue things, is purely out of the goodness of my heart. I could have just continued the war and not gotten a single kill like everyone else you hired and you would be none the wiser, but instead I chose to be honourable.

So in short, out of all the groups you hired, you're mad at me for offering to return your ISK back, which NONE of the other groups have done to my knowledge despite either straight up acknowledging they are scamming you or inadvertantly scamming you by taking your ISK and being terrible. *golf clap*

I told you i'll get you your ISK back when I can and I still intend to, but like I said before, I can't force someone to log-in, so that will happen whenever someone who can get your money back logs in. Threatening to make this post and then actually making it 12 minutes later is not going to expedite this process.

Psychotic Monk is a vile person and should never be trusted. Especially when there are maps involved.

However, I'm not Psychotic Monk. I do on occasion offer mercenary services on behalf of The Skunkworks and will honor every contracted accepted. I think you'll find that I have no such reputation for scamming.

Remember: one person is NOT the entire corp.

That said, Eve Uni hiring mercs? You're just inviting it.

OP should probably list the third group that was hired as scammers too, the now defunct Root. who didn't get any kills either. Roll

I'm still curious as why EvE University gets involved in a wars in the first place. They are, if I recall correctly, a neutral aligned training group that takes all comers who want to learn the game more. Many corporations have pilots on their rosters who were, in fact, trained by EvE University itself. Considering that their mission statement is to basically be what amounts to a public service for the good of everyone, I can see no logical reason why they would place a wardec on anyone, or why anyone would want to wardec them.

(Note that I said logical: I fully understand that EvE has a disturbingly large demographic of completely illogical people in it.)
