How effective is the "send me ur isk scam"

Well I don't scam so don't really know. However if you send me some isk, I shall find out.

I usually try to offer the scammer a different deal:

Just send me your ISK and you get 1/3rd (if you're tripling) or 1/2 of your ISK back (if you're doubling).

I did it for a day or two. Its not that effective. But some guy sent me 500million. If that was a lucky shot i dont know, or maybe its the lucky shots they are going for?
