Issler, specifically: You should congratulate Ivan and Vortexo for making it out to VFK, though I suggest they start working both sides of the I30 gate, rather than both AFKing in the same system. You might also want to talk to Ivan about fits - Drake generally passive tank in PvP, and fit damage mods. If you look for public mirrors of our wiki, the fits suggested there are still pretty robust.

It was so much *simpler* when you just let them have 48 allies.

Why does EVE have to force such hard decisions on people.

I'm a CSM and I've basically supported what Jade has suggested several times in fact. I believe allies should be free up to a point based on the size of the opponent. The fees for extras in a manner that the fees are passed to the mercs you could hire. So pretty much the same as Jade suggests.

Again, amazed at the goon ratio of posters in this thread.

The number isn't pulled from a hat - I've been tracking allies for a while using CCP Punkturis' wonderful new war history interface. I think 38 is the latest count from the GSF vs Honda Accord war, but I might be out of date. I did take a minute to actually sum the costs of paying for all of those wardecs, but I'd done the math back when you had 36 decs, when it would've been that amount.

I redid it. For 38 you'd need 1.37439*10^19.

e. I agree with your point of 'only paying effective allies'. Which is why I posted that you actually having to pick and choose is a good thing.

Well, wrong on several accounts, the internal mail that was leaked referenced that we lost our towers to PL and the chair of the CSM is a PL member, so a CSM alliance had attacked us, but out in the OPEN! No conspiracy there!

That also predates these changes quite a bit and the recent claim of tin foil headgear is specifically regarding this change, so again, far off the mark.

Finally, and this is the real point. I asked for a citation indicated a citation was required. The leaked mail would not be such a citation. I await the citation indicating a citation is required.
