A problem with FW Plex's and standings. Advice needed.

The situation is that i currently have -3.56 (3.02 modified) faction standing with the Gallente Federation and 0.62 (1.72 modified) with the Federation Defence Union.

Im in the Gallente militia because my alt has enough faction to offset my poor faction but im planning on selling this alt for isk. So ive been doing plexs to get my faction standing up. Problem is that my faction with the Gallente Federation is not going up but nor is it going down with Caldari State. My corp standing with FDU is going up though with each plex i complete.

I was under the impression that doing plexs would raise my faction? Do these work like missions where i have to do 16 of them to get a faction boost? Is it because my faction is so poor to begin with? And How would raise my faction with the Gallente Federation so i can stay in the militia when i sell my alt?

Appreciate any help, thanks.

Your standing with Gallente Federation goes up with every promotion.

You get a promotion every time your FDU standing hits a full point (before skills affecting standing).

So, once you get FDU to 1.0 you'll get a promotion and then a Gallente Federation standing increase.

Another one when FDU is at 2.0 etc.

Character sheet, standings, Gallente Federation, right-click show transactions. You should see something like this:
