You consider Iceland to be a viable vacation destination

You have a seperate clock on your phone that is set to EVE time

You spent $250 on a Playstation 3 just so you can play DUST (Planning on it)

I always call my email, evemail even in client meetings.

You go o/ in the chat window to the guy who posses your computer from IT

When your wife refers to EVE as "that stupid game". (Ex Wife)

When your wife starts knowing the names of the pilots in your Alliance and asks how they are doing.

Is it bad that all of these are actually true for me?

No....

When you wish you could spin your car

You scare your boss with your knowledge of corporate espionage

You have a car crash and the first thing you think is "**** I haven’t upgraded this clone"

You own a real life monocle

All books everywhere are skill books

When a new element is found you know if should of been called Tritanium

Parking sensors -> sensor boosters
LED's -> Target Painters
Balloons -> Smart Bombs

Your unimpressed by the size of a real battleships guns

You scare WoW players

Scuba diving brings to mind spaceships?

In history class you answer "spaceships" to the question "what did the Vikings give to the modern world?"

You laugh at your friends when they get it in there heads to try this new "trolling" and then troll them so hard they only realize a week later.

Starting to generalize that other MMO players from other MMO games are a bunch of kids playing farmville.

all of these I've done myself.
you wake up from a really good dream and wonder if you could make a BPO of it. this was only for an instant as I was leaning over to turn off my alarm clock.

I actually have UTC set as the secondary time on my watch so that I can tell at a glance.
EDIT: my watch

(related to another one) you play another MMORPG and you look for the corp button while completely ignoring the guild button. I didn't realize what was going on until I asked in TS.

you get annoyed when you can't gank the annoying spammers in other MMORPGs.

when you've learned more about politics and the economy from eve than from real life.

~ When you say it'll take fifteen minutes to do X when your wife heads to bed and then you look up and realize its two hours later.

~ When you're wife's first words in the morning are 'when did you come to bed?'

Lovely thread, very funny :) My additions;

When you have successfully avoided talking to that unpleasant neighbor when coming home and you realize you feel the same when you successfully jumped thru gatecamps.

When your homesystem in EVE feels more like home to you than your hometown in RL.

Learning solo PvP, one explosion at a time.
