Step 1. Shoot all the rats
Step 2. Warp to next anomaly
Step 3. Go back to step 1

What detailed information do you need?

Seriously.

Shoot red crosses. There's nothing special about anomalies.

you forgot the most important step: loot and salvage.

well ya know details on spawns and triggers, forlorn hub for example can be quite shocking when the spawn isnt expected.

Fly a tengu and the spawns/triggers become irrelevant.

Do people actually do this?

That's nothing. The number of people looting/salvaging hisec complexes instead of killing the boss/trigger is staggering.

If the info is outdated you can always make the necessary corrections to the Evelopedia. If the page is missing some info, add it or if there's no page about it, create one.

Just remember that the amount and names of NPC's may vary from what's actually listed on the page. Most should be close due to the random generator mechanic.

I checked the Evelopedia and from a casual glance it seems some of the Forlorn Hub pages need work.

Angel Forlorn Hub = incomplete - missing NPC info for first and second spawns.
Blood Forlorn Hub = incomplete - missing trigger info on second spawn.
Guristas Forlorn Hub = complete
Sansha Forlorn Hub = incomplete - missing trigger info on initial spawn.
Serpentis Forlorn Hub = missing - page needs to be created.

Now that is just wrong. I can only imagine how long will it take for the site to respawn in such scenario.

it makes sens if you have a noctis cleaning up after a number of people, the amount of minerals and meta 4 is worth it but you need 3+ people for it to worth it

Shooting rats at anomalies would seem rather crude and savage. Hacking shiz on the other hand is what the thoughtful explorer would do. Two days ago I was sneaking behind a Tengu in a ratty anomaly, sucking up remains he left behind.. Following through the next acceleration gate I found a pod on the other side and got the hell out of there.
Moral of the story is, don't fly a Tengu.
Leave exploring to cheap expendable vessels and go for the easy loot anomalies, provided you have the right modules to make use of it.

It is true; information in the exploration section can be outdated. However, as it stands, the exploration section is one of the more active and better organized corners of the Evelopedia.

The wiki is as good as we, the community, make it. So, if you come across information that is outdated, instead of staring passively at the inconsistencies, please invest some time and improve the site's description.

I guess you don't loot and salvage factions rats.

I got some faction loot and even one bpc.
