If you would like to skip down to the line break, as it is more of backstory and reasoning than it is the actual idea, feel free.

I'm a guitarist in a metal band. I've always sort of liked the placement of Eve's music where it is but there's not that much that I can actually sit down and enjoy. The Gallentean combat music (can't remember the song, real heavy though) is -fantastic- but it's unfortunate that I only ever get to hear it in missions after warping in via acceleration gate. Even then, it doesn't repeat, so if I'm in there for longer than the duration of the song I'll find myself fighting to some somber easy listening/elevator music..

*BREAK*

So, here's what I would like to suggest. Eve really does need some more of it's -own- music, sure the jukebox feature to upload your own is great and all but that requires all sorts of research into finding the perfect combat songs that don't have any vocalists. There's only so many times I can listen to "Klendathu Drop" from the Starship Troopers soundtrack. I'm not talking about the 60+ tracks of auto-pilot music, I'm talking -combat- music; something that gets your blood pumping when you're in the middle of one of Eve's large fleet fights.

Yes. More CCP Certified/recommended music.

as long as sentient beings exist,

until then, may I too remain

and dispel the miseries of the world."
