Would Conflag be usable if there was dual webbing? I prefer scorch for the same reason i prefer Null blaster ammo over Void (range without sacrificing a ton of damage), but i like the option of high dps when needed.

[quote=IGNATIUS HOOD]I am really bad at explaining this, where is Tippia when you need her. Suffice to say OP the farther out they are the better you hit and the less tracking speed is needed while in the close range more tracking is better.

Steps to understand this:

  1. Get in the passenger seat of a car.
  2. Ask someone to drive the car really fast.
  3. Look out the passenger window.
  4. Try tracking an object that is close to the car with your eyes. This is difficult, because the object appears to move fast. Now attempt to track an object far away. This is easy, because the object appears to move very slowly.

You now understand the relationship between distance and tracking.

Cool

Anyone who has fired guns in real life at moving targets Clays, Ducks, Deer, etc. Can tell you exactly what you just elaborated. I move the barrel of my shot gun 6 inches and this equals a substantial number of feet when aiming at a duck 100 yards away. But that same duck becomes much harder to track when he's moving the same speed 10 yards away.

Yes, but even again the penalty still applies and the Multi with no penalty and only slightly less damage still outperforms. Conflag has its uses though. When I have used conflag its been against BS sized targets PVE on L4 Missions. But the cost of Conflags vs Navy Multis is prohibitive as well. You get 1000 shots with a Conflag, 4000 with a Navy Multi for similar performance DPS wise.

Also in PVP as Amarr you give away speed and manurverability to just about everyone which means more often than not you're having the engagment dictated to you, not ideal with Conflags IMO. Webs are great but you don't want to rely on them to hit for damage in PVP when you're in an Amarr boat.

I flew this ship for years in 0.0 sometimes solo somtimes not.The best setup i came up with in the lows is 3 DMG mods and the rest plates and EANM.For guns i allways used Mega pulse with scorch and the navy MF. Mids changes on the fleet comp if i dont need a point i used sebos and sometimes a cap booster so i could run the guns for ever.

This ship can dish out tons of DPS with good skills and can reach out pretty far for myself i would also load the rigs with trimarks for loads of buffer screw it repair it later.Even solo the only thing i changed was adding ECM drones has saved my a$$ a few times.

conflag is 50/50 em/therm, a very awesome ammo. if you find yourself in a bad spot to use it instant swap to navy multi or scorch :p
