Is it all about the 0.01isking? Is anyone pulling in these numbers?

There are a number of different strategies one could use to make that number daily. I spend no more than 3/4-11/2 hours a day trading, some days I don't make more than a hundred or two million, on others I'll make a billion or more off of the one hour of work. There are highs and lows, but I think I average around 500mill an hour per day. Then there are periods where I don't log in for 2-3 days, like this past weekend and I got lucky and made 750mill+ It is hit and miss, the only certainty is the more isk you roll into the market the easier it is to make margins.

I have tens of billions in the market currently between two trade alts to yield the 500 mill or so daily off an average of one hour of work.

edit: also, that high of a number is also a direct impact of the increase in prices across the board and probably is not sustainable

making 500M a day isn't about isk if you ask me.
You can 'easily' pull 100-200M a day with a billion or two.
Unfotunetly, getting 4B won't double your returns(you won't be making 200-400M daily).
and it's defenetly not all about 0.01 isking.

And then it's about 'effort'.
I don't mean to sound dis-respectful to anyone, but take all the figures you hear in MD with a pinch of salt.
Figures tend to be skewed upwards, computer time tends to be lower than what it actually is.
And the winning argument is "Well, believe it or not that's what i'm doing".

I don't argue that *some* people make alot of isk daily. i highly doubt that it's the average.
I check my orders around 6 times a day, most of the time i only need to update around 20 of my 260 as i'm in a slower region than jita. ( i only check my buy orders normaly, sales eventually sell..)

With all of the above said, I'm making around 150-200M daily from a total of 6B liquid.

obviously directed at me, but like i said, this number is a direct result of prices increasing, and most likely not sustainable

wasn't directed at you, was directed in general to the MD community.
people tend to sweeten their numbers up to make it look better.
People will report their 'good' days as their average etc.

I'm not saying people lie, they just show better numbers :)
Plus working with tens of billions to get 500M in a day is realistic.
(unlike the many traders who trade for a few weeks and 'net' 400M daily with a 2M start.)
