On 2nd thought... These were on my old laptop. the new laptop had to be sent to to be fixed...

I just checked TQ and SiSi, it's the same but I swear they were darker before, I have a video taken off the old one. Maybe ATI cards darken up eve? O.o

Is there anything different there? I don't see anything new.

Or is this just a troll thread?

Do I have to get an old screen shot? or link one of the dozen of rage thread about the new ammar skins being too dark?

Hi all, I just wanted to chime in and explain that the Shader that’s used will modulate the look of the red on the Sarum ships. That is why it is too dark for some and nice for others, that being said... we are aware and have been that the ships are slightly on the darker side.

This is something we've been looking into but can’t make any changes until ALL ships are V4'd as it would be a global change to all ships. I do not have any details on this other than we are looking into it.

I will however point one of the senior artists to this thread to look at the screenshots you have created for the Paladin.

Looks the same for me. I never had a problem with lighting (other than the preview window not being representative of space).

the tessellation ships are already done. You can see them in the eve art book released some 4 years ago. Once released it just bumps up the V3 ships normal maps into geometry, instead of just lighting information. Increasing the poly count based on the number of subdivisions your computer can handle.

Possible.

May be the way the shaders react to certain GPU driver/hardware setups. Or could be monitor settings for some. This is especially noticeable on the newer monitors that have different presets.

Guardian + Absolution s'il vous plait.

"We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming.

well something changed :P Same with the Hound, I couldn't see the dark side of it in space, it was PITCH BLACK. But now it looks great. I know I'm not alone but I guess it makes sense as it was mostly brought up on the test server.
