Custum resolution in wine

I haven't played EVE under windows for years and years so I'm not sure you can do that there, but running EVE in wine gives you the alternative to use about any resolution if you're running EVE in a window.
Quote:
$ wine explorer /desktop=EVE,1200x900 "/somewhere/Eve Online/eve.exe"

This tells wine to run EVE in an emulated desktopwindow that is 1200x900. Now when you start EVE go to the graphical options and you can choose this new resolution. Comes in handy if you run Gnome and have to panels or just want to choose the resolution for yourself.
