I am looking for good fit for Gila. I will use him for exploration only ded 3/10 and other stuff in high sec. But i have no idea what kind tank i need. So anyone can advise something for me?

You want a passive shield tank on a Gila. Here's the fit I used for running Angel sites up through 4/10. It has like 700 DPS tank with my skills and enough DPS to do ok (if you could trade some tank to squeeze a DDA2 on there, it would be pretty sweet, but I haven't messed with that yet).

I would add 2 DDA2's...you can get your medium drones over 200 DPS and you don't see anything bigger than a cruiser in HS exploration. Drops tank a bit, but you can AB around the site at 500m/s at 50 KM and wait to clean up once your drones are done. only sansha vigil would make me worry with the two webber drones in the last room right on the gate. But once they are gone, it's just clean up time.

i would advice against puttting this much tank on it if it is just for high sec. exploration. More damage is always better than overkill tank so use his fit as a reference instead of fitting like him

Is there a post Inferno Gila fit for mission running L3s and some L4s that incorporates the new damage mods? I'm looking to do a bit of standing grinding.

Yeah, I was mostly posting it as a starting point than a 'use this'. DDAs would definitely be great on the thing, the trick is fitting them, since the CPU is pretty tight. You'll probably end up dropping the cloak and maybe the HMLs if you want to actually fit DDAs to the thing. I do agree that that thing is pretty seriously overtanked for most highsec stuff though, I was designing it more for lowsec though, so extra tank was appealing to me.

I have meh skills and I get about 286 DPS from mids 582 to Ogre II's...not a huge fan of sentries on the smaller targets that will be present in HS.

if your not using sentries you can drop the Omindirectional. But the rest looks pretty good. Might want to add a gun just to draw aggro.

Smartbombs in high sec are not a good idea. At all. Strip those off. Replace with whatever launchers fit.

Replace the shield flux coils (really; they are worthless) with beta shield power relays. You can use active hardeners as well; if you want to maintain cap stability with hardeners go for one SPR and one SPU instead.

lol, I mentioned them in my first post. And I've got one on my exploring Ishkur fit already. I just haven't messed with the Gila fit since they came out since I use my Loki instead, lol.

should work, but still. Put a launcher on it to draw aggro. Those drones won't last forever.

So you did... I will now completely disregard my own advice and instead of admitting my mistake try I'm going to find a way to hypocritically wiggle my way out of what I said.
