EVE HQ 2.2 and SQL Server Express 2012

Every time I launch EVE HQ 2.2 it demands SQL Server Compact 4.0 be installed, even though I have SQL Server Express 2012 fully available. The instructions I could find reference changing a setting, but I can't even get into the application to do this. Does anyone know how to configure EVE HQ 2.2 to use something other than SQL Server Compact 4.0?

Fix POSes.  Every player should want one (even if all players can't have one).

First, EVEHQ latest version is 2.8.
