EvE WONT start... AGAIN

i have just opened my launcher, after the big patch yesterday and it worked fine yesterday and this morning. i guess there might have been a patch over DT today? anyway, it says it cant update (even though its on 11% validating) and says to close the current running process of eve. even though none exist, this **** has happened several times after patches but i dno how to fix it

EDIT: just reset my pc and it updated the launcher fine Oops

I that that problem on my laptop yesterday-I rebooted it & it was fine!

My dekstop STILL ain't running Eve & still no reply from CCP!

Have you checked the process for all users in Windows Task Manager? Under specific circumstances the game might run under an elevated account to be able to update Runtime components if necessary.

Just to clarify, from you Bug Report I'm getting the impression the client is starting up but is unable to connect to the server due to a version miss match? And you already have rebooted the machine with no effect?
