Magnate is capable of fitting a Cyno. I'm surprised they didn't drop a 50 carrier fleet on him.

Also, please note that he said he didn't see anybody, so his ship wasn't scanned. Nobody knew his ship carried no fittings.

I won't say you are stupid, but you're not exactly on the Zombie menu either.

This is true, all the RUS corps are a shadow of their former selves, having fallen into the trap of the slumlord renter model. I would dare say the only pro russian corp out there now is OEG.

Part of this is renters just being renters. Why should they bother doing anything in their space that doesn't pay the rent or otherwise line their pockets. If the space becomes to much of a hassle, they can go rent somewhere else.

One may note there isn't Crap between 77 and 46dp and you are still 20 some odd jumps from anywhere populated.

Yeah, you may have passed a couple renters, but if you want action you have to come closer to GE-

Not to mention this is -A- we're talking about. I thought I knew them, I remember once upon a time in intel they would dog a shuttle...the same probably could be said for any alliance, it's a kill and invaders must die.

Only noted because if I left from 77s8 I could have gone home through detorid and insmother. I'm not stupid enough to try to get to hi through GE- or HED. Almost, but not quite. Now, I was particularly worried about ZXIC because they can come straight from HED... dunno if the bridge is still there.

You make a valid point, good Sir or Madam.

not exactly true. real story would be:
(somewhere in quite alliance chat):
1st: heh. our structure is being attacked.
2nd: where?
1st: system XXXX
2nd: hm... who and how many?
1st: there is no intel data. looks like solo magnate...
2nd: lol? Shocked
1st: Lol
all: ZZZzzzzzzz

(anyway almost any structure has reinforce timer)

haha, you never run into trouble when you are looking for it. When you need to move something then you run into gangs every other jump.

That's why you shoot station services. P

Murphy's law has been coded into the game. Lol Though I seriously wasn't looking for it. All my jump clones were in hostile stations and since I wasn't able to use any services, I had no idea where my medical clone would take me if I died. I was afraid it would send me right back to the station I came from, and I'd be stuck in a perpetual loop of never escaping Detorid....just thought of a cool movie name: Escape from Detorid.

So.

You've discovered the delights of NullSec joyriding. Cool

When I'm logged in on this alt, I do this very frequently. Usually in a stock Ibis. Indeed, I'm based out of a Sister's station deep in NullSec in the Galactic North, so that I may begin my joyrides immediately without any prep jumps.

31 jumps is a nice start, but you've got room for growth. Call us back when you're routinely making 100+ jump joyrides, and buzzing stations in VFK.

Expanding on this thought...
I started joyriding to cure myself of my fear of Null, and my fear of losing hulls and/or getting podded. The adrenaline rush of my first, unscripted random run was intoxicating. So I did it again. And got clobbered. So I did it again, and learned a bit about not being clobbered... Until I was clobbered again. And I learned more.

I now routinely burn through NullSec like a cat on fire. No cloaking. No subtlty. No special hulls or mods. Just reflexes, daring, and a lot of practice. And, since racing through systems alone isn't sufficiently entertaining, I've taken to dropping markers of my presence and buzzing POS & Sov structures, just to try and stir stuff up.

I've been chased. I've been ambushed. I've evaded countless bubbles and traps. I've been hot-dropped. I've died in many, many fires.
I've had fun.
