With an influx of new pilots joining the Amarr and basing out of Kamela Lamma came under constant offensive plexing pressure for about a week prior to the operation.

With WBR setting up a POS in system for reshiping/boosting and as a general safe haven the main concentration of plexing hit at around 70 to 75% of contestation. With WBR led plexing fleets in the last day or two of the operation.

Logging onto team speak and seeing none of my regular in corp wingman online I saw a FATE led fleet on TS and decided to drop by and ask for a fleet invite

With the system close to 90% Rydal and Sync Vir of WBR (the two main pilots in charge) decided they needed a break from EVE and asked if anyone wanted to assume command of the standing fleet. With a nice number of pilots in fleet and euro primetime rapidly approaching I decided to take over the fleet and give Lamma the final push it needed.

The original plan was for me to keep the fleet actively plexing until more senior WBR pilots came online and became active. With Kamela being one jump away my intention was to hand over fleet command to WBR when time for the bunker bust came. With the fleet actively growing to respectable numbers and the system inching closer and closer to 100% contestation it started to dawn on me that I was going to be leading this fleet to the end. Two Redbulls and a serious poker face was clearly needed for me.

Much to my relief as the system approached 96% the Fweddit fleet commander contacted me and informed me of a friendly Fweddit fleet coming into Lamma to support the takeover. Passing this information onto WBR I was pleased to see the Lamaa operation turning into the first operation with complete co ordination between Fweddit, the 7th and WBR. This was the beginning of something good.

With Kourmonen slowly filling up with Minmatar war targets scouts reported incoming minmatar destroyer and frigate fleet. Nothing showing as an organized response to the bunker busting fleet the incoming hostile fleet was nothing more than a fleet meant to hinder the bunker bust by pushing the system back to contested from vulnerable at least until the minmatar can get themselves into a proper counter fleet.

Minmatar intell channels flashed briefly with scouting reports of us but nothing solid was showing as far as a serious counter aside from the destroyer fleet.

The last stretch of the operation was a tense one with our fleet holding strong inside the last Major plex with full BC and ECM support. Nothing was going to come into the major without taking very heavy losses. Finally the hostile destroyer/frigate fleet landed on the Lamma gate in Kourmonen seeking to capture the minor plex and delay operations at least for enough time for the minmatar to form a fleet able to fight toe to toe with the amarr fleet on the bunker.

With the minnies rushing into the minor with their dessies Fweddit’s fleet commander decided to fight them for control of the minor. Fweddit setup defensive positions inside the minor as the hostile dessie fleet landed on the minor acceleration gate. Deciding not to ruin the entrenched position of our Battle Cruiser/Cruiser ECM support fleet from within the major it was up to Fweddit now. I pulled off the ships under my command in the major from the button with a 30 seconds left on it as the battle tore on between Fweddit and the minmatar for control of the minor.

The minmatar won that skirmish and took control of the minor decontesting the system. Once they captured that our intelligence reported the fleet being told to ship into cruisers and down. It was obvious the minnies where going after the soon to spawn medium plex. I gave the orders to my fleet to go ahead and run down the rest of the major timer pushing the system back into vulnerable and led the fleet back to Kamela to reship into mid sized ships. Fweddit FC assured me his fleet were reshipping and will be back shortly.

The race to get entrenched in the medium was on between the Amarr and the Minmatar. Our midsized fleet landed on the acceleration gate to the medium plex and went in. As the minmatar cruiser and down fleet entered Lamaa a short dscan from within the medium showed that they were vastly outnumbered and outshipped for the fight. With the amarr capital fleet showing up on top of the Lamaa bunker the amarr light show began.

Our job now was clear cut. Keep the minmatar busy for a few minutes. Checking dscan the minmatar were still on the acceleration gate to the medium. Our cruiser and below fleet was ordered to warp directly to the Kourmonen gate and landed 10 seconds before the retreating minmatar forces. As the minmatar fleet jumped into Kourmonen on contact so did our fleet and battle ensued on the Kourmonen gate. Much to our relief the Fweddit fleet landed mid engagement and our combined forces quickly melted the opposition on the Lamaa gate in Kourm.

Once the engagement was won ALL amarr firepower was now free to shoot the bunker. As our fleet headed back into Lamaa and then Kamela to reship into DPS ships to help the bunker bust. As we landed on the Kamela gate our capitol fleet confirmed that the job is done and the bunker is down in what might have seemed like a minute or two to those of us involved in the fight on the Kourm/Lamaa gate.

I would like to extend a warm and hearty thank you to both WBR and Fweddit for their co operation in this op and look forward to more combined and joint ops for the amarr. I would also like to give my best to the minmatar FC’s and pilots for trying their best and extend a warm GF to both friendlies and hostiles.

Minmatar took two system tonight within hours of each other. You amarr were bad before patch and bad after it, and all the bullshit long winded post about how you "Won" anything isnt going to change that.
