It is often said, you can never leave Eve, only take a break. Seems this might be true.

A little while back I decided I'd had enough and gave my crap away and left. Went to try that robot thing, had a little fun but got bored.

Bit of a bugger that I gave all my stuff away though, but the challenge to gain assetts is as good as any focus :)

See you in game folks o/

edit: title changed to be more relevant.

There is something that makes me wonder both about the "Im back!" and "Im leaving!" threads.

Who are you, why should we care and why do you believe yourself to be anything but some random insignificant scrub?

Or rather how do you regard yourself as anything else?

Edit: Before anybody cries WOLF!/TROLL! - I believe those are very legitimate questions.

He's just telling.
Just as you are just asking your - self proclaimed (no offense) - legitimate question.

It always makes me wonder about people that say "you must feel important to post that", (not talking about YOU here)
because i believe it tells more about them, than about the posters they are talking about.

One could say that you felt your post is - for you - important enough to be posted ...
... but i don't want to say that you feel important or anything.

It's just that he may feel the same way and - for him - it's totally legitimate.
You feel like it and you do it.
Besides, nobody knows if he knows ppl who read the forums and are actually interested,
but not posting.

Also ... considering the shitload of threads about ppl who are leaving, (old forums)
it's just fair when ppl post when they are coming back.

As everybody who posts, posts for a reason,
every post has a value for the guy who posts,
hence every post has a value,
which amounts to zero ... including mine, of course.

And everybody who says his posts have more value than others ...
... just has a really bloated ego.

Of course, some posts contain more information than others,
but that doesn't say they have more value than those who contain less information.

They all have the same value ... zero.

Did you throw a tantrum when you left?

if so...

if not. Then I think breaking from eve is quite the norm actually. (Done it a few times me self.)

Who are you and why should anyone care that you're back? Oh, thought so.

That was a lot of posts for a post that describes how posters feel about their posts. Big smile (sorry, just had to say it)

To OP. Welcome back. I know the feeliing,

I just cant stay away from the game either. It keeps pulling me back for some reason.

This actually the most insightful thing I've read here, ever.

No kidding.

Edit: Although the psychological implications of posting a "Im gone" or "Im back" thread remain a mystery.
