Of course CCP deleted my post because I said penises only not plural so kind of strange they allow this stupid ****.

However who ever believed they are honest?

How does that go for you?

It goes well, that soft skin of a woman makes a digitized avatar seem superfluous. Try it out sometime.

I'm still wondering why you're so adamant about this issue. I still want to know who s/he was. Smile

I never made a thread one. Why do you think I am adamant? No I am not afraid of my sexuality. I love women period they are awesome. I am not afraid of gay men or bi-men or married same sex. I just know what they are missing. Not fear just more for me. To be gay is to miss out on the best things in life.

Are you gay and Hetrophobic?

I'm straight as they come, but you've been hitting that reply button in all of these threads, making sure everyone knows you're a man and anyone who has a female avatar and real balls is a freak. So tell me again...who got you in game? Who ruined you?

Because to be a woman in a game is saying something about you. Why are you angry about me not agreeing with you? Who ruined me? No one ruined me I am upper middle class male with a great life. I just think it is wierd to play a girl in a game if you are not a girl.

But the fact of the matter is, you're failing to see it from the other side of the spectrum. I guess that's a problem for a lot of people though. If the world could see everything, from all angles, I don't think the U.S.A. would be fighting an 11 year war anymore.

I'm also pretty sure that would be some kind of dimension that'd blow your brain to pieces and require faster-than-light speeds.

I have no need or care to see the other side. 11 year war that has kept the world reasonably safe. At least the USA. That was the point of it to start with. No there is no dimension in sex beyond a woman that would "Blow my brain". You are so scared I understand that gays were beat down no reason to be scared anymore. Just be your self and stop trying to understand or judge me.

Not to mention the Arab Spring which was a USA lead and supported event. Without the 11 years of war there would be no revolution in the Middle East.

Conflict is inevitable, evolution is conflict, we are made to be in conflict and to be good at it. Lofty dreams of world peace are just the delusions of a slightly confused school child.

lol are you calling me homosexual now? You don't get it, do you? But judging by the rest of this post, I know exactly why you don't.

Conflict is inevitable, but what separates us from the rest of the animals is that we, as human beings, with powerful reasoning skills, are able to overcome conflict.

Or maybe I'm being too optimistic about the human species, I mean there isn't really a lot of evidence of further evolution, more-so devolution.

Hey, hey, hey, let's not get nasty about this.
Obviously everyone has different views on the subject, which is natural and cool and interesting, because we're all human beings. I'd be worried if we were all the same. I didn't see anyone bashing anyone for anything to begin with, so there's no reason to continue being pissy about the way some people approach it.

The straight guy says he feels that gay people are missing out because girls are awesome.
Anything wrong with that? Of course he'd feel that way.

A gay person might feel the exact opposite way about the same straight guy, but since he's gay, it's natural he'd feel that way.

Each person is bound to have a different viewpoint, and each one isn't inherently right. Some things might work for some people and others for others, since we all think and relate to things entirely differently. I hope this isn't big news.

And people all have their reasons for picking avatars.
Some peoples' avatars are simply discrete characters - so gender doesn't matter so much to them, because the avatar isn't a representation of the person at the keyboard, it's a digital fictional character who is an egger. And that's cool.
And for some, it's a digital representation, so they make the avatar look like themselves, or how they'd like to look, and act like they would in real life. That's also cool.

Me personally, I have a male as a main and then a secondary female pirate. She's a distinct character from me and myself, but my main is my "space persona," you might say. (Something like Tricia McMillan becoming Trillian.)
And hey, if your space persona or character or whatever ends up being female, that's awesome, as long as you're okay with it and it works for you. That doesn't mean much of anything about your gender or sexuality or what-the-hell-ever, as there's infinite different ways humans relate to these kinds of things. If you have experience in theatre, you probably know a bit of what I'm talking about.

Mine just happens to be male because I'm a guy and I think it's cool to be a guy (though I think girls are cool too), and I can most easily relate to flying around in a spaceship with my center of bodily mass lower than a female's. And yet I have a distinct female character who also flies around, she just shoots a lot more.

Whoops.

Has anyone done a poll, or has CCP ever really divulged the number of female players there are playing this game?
