Lvl4 mission running or Rattings and complex runs?

as the title says
although mission running is less profitable in terms of isk , it makes up for it with lp
Ratting gives you LOTS of isks , but also carry HEAVY risks as you have to venture out into 0.0 for it to be worth the fuss

Now , I'm not sure which is better in the long run , as I'm still a one month old nub
so if theres any pro out there that can point me to the right direction it would be great

How about neither? How about Wormhole Exploration? Or pvp warfare? Or industrialist? EVE is a sandbox, you do what you want. Security is just a perception - if someone wants to destroy your ship, they'll find a way, no matter where you are. So the first rule is - don't fly what you can't afford to lose. Beyond that, take certain precautions, such as using D-scan, watching local, setting up safe spots, don't be stupid (no offense) and you'll do just fine.

In fact, if you join a large Alliance or come to some kind of agreement with them (part of your loot in exchange for them allowing you to mission in their territory), you'll be just as safe in 0.0 as you are in empire space.

Remember: sandbox. Above all else, have fun :)

firstly, this.

secondly, if you want to start making money, missions are currently the most beginner-friendly way. later when you get more experience and SP and become bored with saving the stupid damsel for the 100th time, you can still branch off into exploration, wormhole life, station trading or whatever floats your boat.

I should buy an Ishtar.

You have already answered your question.

Go to null once you get some skills up. A good time would be when you are comfortable running lvl 4's. After a month that would seem a tad early.

And to copy previous replies, have fun and theres alot to be done in Eve that do not neccesarely need good skills.

such as afk mining and PI and can flipping ...

which gives me good isk .... TO BUY BETTER COMBAT SHIPS

if there's a way to actually MAKE isk while doing the stuff I love I would , but for now I guess its mission running for me then, but ITS SOOOO TEMPTING

I'll have to work my arse off doing lvl 4s to get a puny 10 mil
but I could easily get 10 mil by ratting in 0.0 , the only problem is , I'm dead meat if I get into a pvp

You can easily make more than 10mil on lvl 4s. The loot/salvage alone is usually about that much.

Not the part about sandbox, the part about having fun. :) Eve isn't really a true sandbox because there are actually wrong ways to play this game, and you can not do everything and anything you want. :)

I used to think null was an unsafe dangerous place.. but after being there for a few months now, I can assure you it is the safest place to make isk... wh's are good, but having local and intel channels to tell you when trouble is looming. You can safely run anoms in a carrier while doing pvp with a separate toon. No one has yet even tried to gank my hulk Big smile.
CCP wants everyone in null.. so come on in and join the easy safe isk faucet.

Fair enough. Low-sec is pretty crazy in some areas - particularly anything bordering Caldari or Minmatar mission hubs.

Join an Epeen Corp in Null sec rat until they kick you for not being "Elite" and you will be rich. You can run a few "TardCorp" events and last a lot longer and make even more Isk. Just say you are busy when they call for combat and log off. Then come back a couple hours later and Rat some more and maybe get a officer spawn. In a month or so before they know what is happening you have billions and tell them to go Suck their Epeens.

It is all "Sandbox" stuff and easy to abuse. Abuse it at will, if you are a miner join a EpeenCorp in Null sec make lots of money and then leave. Don't help them just make excuses. If yout Hulk was destroyed join an Epeencorp in Nullsec act like you are poor use their ships to make Billions then tell them to Pissoff as you run back to highsec through Jump Clone with your billions. Make sure you destroy as much stuff as you can before you leave. Get your revenge on EpeenTard Corps in Nullsec. Just join the corp recruiting channel in Eve join one of the ELITE nullsec corps steal and take everything you can into your pockets and then laugh at them. Come back to high sec and laugh when they kill your hulk and act like they matter in the world.

Join a NullSec corp and steal **** from them, ships, ore, modules, rat until you can't rat anymore than leave. **** them.

You should ask about the time Morsus Mihi had a big alliance ice mining op with gate protected and a big umbrella. Null space is never safe.

Get your skills up and use something like a Macherial and you can easily make 30 mil per hour or more just in bounties and rewards. Then there are the LP's.
