Just looking for some solid info on the game mechanics for war deccing someone that is in your own militia. Mainly, under a war dec, do you still take the huge penalty for killing a fellow militia member, or is that penalty ignored?

I would really appreciate a DEV answer or a link to something official.

Under a Wardec there is no standings penalty, even if they are in your own militia.

You likely wont get a Dev response, but it won't do anything to your standings because they will be legit war targets. I can tell you it will be problematic in fleets if you intend to war dec a actual corp in your own Militia and not some known Gal alts. Usually nothing good comes out of inter Militia war decs as you end up creating more enemies for yourself.

Thanks for the warning Mutnin, and I agree. On the other hand, these guys are known for attempting to start drama within the militia. Instead of escalating drama, we have chosen to not give them that chance. Diplomatic solutions were attempted to no avail, so force of arms is the choice left to us.
