What's even more amusing is when they find a word that for some reason they can't live without. In his case it would be the word nuanced. It's like watching an alcoholic with their hip flask, they have to keep checking to make sure its still there Big smile

Forum moderation is not a walk in the park and care has to be taken over the deletion of posts. But the idea of being sent to Davy Jones' Locker does amuse me.

Well, I'm glad it amuses you.

Nonetheless, everything I posted is true. The OP was perfectly fine and had some legitimate replies. However, he was personally attacked by others who were trying to incite a flame war and derail this thread by posting sarcastic, disrespectful, demeaning, berating and offensive replies directed towards the OP.

I personally detest seeing that and have been guilty of doing that myself in the past. But I was shown the error of my ways and have vowed to post replies as per Forum Rules. Now when I see it getting out of hand, I'll post a reminder to those involved and if continued, will just issue 'Report Cards'.

Now that we've gotten off-topic, it's probably best to do as the great Stan Lee says - 'Nuff Said'.

The OP is not some poor defenceless poster trying to make himself heard, he is a known whiner who has already had one post moved and another locked for breaching forum rules. It is sad that you do not see what he is doing, and have debased yourself by allowing him to sucker you in. For this I pity you.

His replies to those who disagree with him are rude, terse and non-constructive and as such deserves no less in response. Since you seem keen on following the exact letter of the forum rules, I suggest you take a look at your new best friends posting history of late, specifically today. If your self proclaimed White Knighting is honourable and fair, then perhaps you should be issuing such "warnings" to the OP as well.

Diplomacy only works if both parties are capable of using it DMC, and I have been around more than long enough to know when a poster is, and isn't capable of such.
