No it's not.

a) Not all slippery slope arguments are fallacious.

b) The OP doesn't present an argument but rather an exploration of possible consequences.

The art of changing the game using IG rules and content , is too complicated to understand for the average anonymous pubbie.

I totally agree on everything.

Let's all stop shooting miners. It's pointless.

INSTEAD, let's concentrate on autopiloting/afk (shuttles/frigates and their) PODs !

first of all the mittani is a butthurt idiotic child who i have no respect for what so ever, his goons are different i will respect any of them ingame and out of game, but their CEO well enough said

this whole debate isn't about ganking hulks anymore this has becomesa war of word between 2 groups accusing each other of wanting to turn this game in either a themepark mmo or into a arcade game mmo, and the more i think about it the more stupid this all debate gets , to be honest both ideas will only hurt the game very badly

the mittani walks a very thin line between being the evil goon ceo and encouraging right out hardcore griefing with the intention to force people to leave
my opinion anyway

EVE biggest strenght its sand box also becomes its biggest weakness when one group tries to enforce their will and visions of the game onto the majority

I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire

High sec miners are currently winning and lauging at ALL the gankers. Laughing at you.

I haven't gotten that impression from all their doom-and-gloom threads the last few days! Lol

As you should know, appearances can be deceaving. I would not be surprised that more high sec miners continue to operate then ever before.

Those fiendishly clever miners...They wanted permanent Hulkageddon all along...To draw us in...And that's when they strike! Shocked

I guess it was their plan all along and I now have a feeling that a permanent Hulkageddon will only make them stronger. They are relentless and continously adapt. The constent whines on the forums is only a ruse to make the gankers believe that suicide attacks are succeeding in puting an end to mining activities in high sec. But in reality, their may be more mining in high sec then ever before.

The suicide gankers are loosing the war.

I suspect the art of acting like douches inside and outside the game might play a little part in this.

Also, the fun thing of emergent gameplay, is that it performs exactly like emergent turds sticking out of a pond: they are easily seen.

CCP nerfed plenty of totally legit emergent gameplay, from nano to unprobeable T3, from making concord untankable to grip webbing stuff. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results but...

I think your keyboard is broken, you spell it Puppy. :)

I don't believe anyone truely knows what is considered Tears anymore. The Term is used for just about any post anymore.

The real Issue with the forums is the snide comments and use of derogatory terms for the groups of people in eve.

Grow a little respect already and you won't have to deal with the constant threads you think are whining.

goons just waged some sort of fail campaign against people who say stuff like cool story bro and girls don't play games (or something like that), but they still insist on using the word pubbie...

Tried that and was quite successful until CCP nerfed them into to oblivion so nobody does them anymore.

I think we're quite successful at Marketgeddon, at least until they nerf Tech.

Yes, the real reason Hulkageddon exists is so that CCP will finally realize that they need to nerf Hulks and high-sec mining into oblivion much like incursions and Tech.

Yup. I've never minded the threat of being ganked while mining. It does make the game more interesting. But the unceasing wail of stupidity and unthinking attitude unleashed by the mittani.......and utterly destroying the core idea of Hulkageddon....geez, it is like an idiot Prince declaring christmas everyday. It gets old. Everyone will eventually leave.

I hesitate to think what the real motivation is. But then....there probably isn't any real motivation. It is indeed for lulz and idiocy.

The mittani.....so f**cking creative, yet so so dumb. Sad really. Welp, he can have fun here all he wants. All by himself soon if the population graphs are accurate.

If he wants to make the game burn, I'll gladly watch the attempt from the Outside.

There's people out there mining. Game's not broken.

"when a ship is blown up, the pilot usually winds up replacing it. This drives the economy, steadies inflation, and gives industrialists a reason to manufacture. In contrast, creating isk while never losing any items has the unfortunate reverse effect on the market, plus it isn't really any fun." Jala
