One thing that has been frustrating me lately is not being able to auto-link Alliance names. There are a few reasons for this.

1. In chat, people will mention a corporation/alliance name, And not specify which it is, I like to be able to copy it into the chat, and use auto-link to look it up quickly without going into the people and places window.

2 When I am looking for an corporation, I use auto-link combined with copy and paste when using the in-game browser. Sometimes when doing research on potential war-targets it is easier to simply paste and auto-link to get to show info because you already have tons of windows open at the time, including People & Places for other things.

3. I see no point in having this option available for Corporation names and not Alliance names, people would use them for the same reasons. You could even mix the command to be Corporation/Alliance, and if there happens to be a corp and an alliance with the same name, simply bring up the suggestion box.

In a game like eve where there is plenty of clicking done already, even saving a few clicks to go into people and places is convenient. By having the option available for corporation times, one would kind of expect it to be available to alliance names as well. I wish I had a dollar for every time I have typed an alliance name in chat attempting to use auto-link for quick access or linking.
