Personally I have no real problem with Hulkaggedon.

I do however have a problem with the consequences Hulkaggedon has on my char. I played back in 07,.. before the onset of Hulkaggedon. At the time I was a soldier, and I didnt have a lot of free time to devote to actively playing the game. So I mined to make funds for those few times I did have time to actively play. I quit for 5 years,.. between being an soldier and having recently become a parent my time was even more limited. Now I am stuck at home, permanently disabled and still waiting for the Department of Veterans Affairs to start paying for those disabilities So I come back to eve and find out that you can now pay for the game with plex,.. awesome I cant afford to pay for a regular subscription but I can mine plex at least until I have some sub time saved up.

On comes Hulkaggedon,.. being fresh back in the game and having missed the last,.. well all of hulkaggedons I got popped on the first day. So I wait. well waitings done but hulkaggedon did not end as schedualed instead its now a permanent fixture in EVE.

Ok cool try an make money other ways. Missioning sounds fun,.. ooh wait damn i Have 9.3 million skill points locked up in mining which are now effectivly usless. 75 pct of my skill points just for mining.

So now While I have been working on combat skills I dont think Ill make plex much longer, maybe another month or two.

Solution:

A optional 1 time only per char Skill point Reset. allowing us to reallocate useless skill points into something better suited.

Im sure I am not the only one who looks at wasted skill points wishing they could put it to something usefull.

What do you think? leave comments w/e Flamers are as the sun inevitably rises every morning are naturally expected and welcome as well. Of cource,.. as the sun must go down you will inevitably be ignored.

No flame here.

But EvE is all about consequence.

So no respec for anyone. Just bear with it.

You don't get to respec just because you changed your mind about liking something.

there are several ways to mine, more or less, safe. Solo-Afk Mining is none of these

Im not saying a respec just for me,.. What im suggesting is that everone be allowed a 1 time per char, respec.
Is there anyone here who can honestly say they dont have a few skills they wouldnt mind being able to retrieve the time they wasted on it?
And its not a matter of not liking something anymore, I still rather enjoy mining as its quite relaxing,. However simply put mining for me is not profitable,.. mine a week to build 3-400mil worth of isk,.. get popped once and lose the equivilent.

Or you could fit a tank and pay attention.

Join a nullsec alliance. Join an anom-mining fleet, mine sweet high-ends and make enough for a plex in a day. Or stay in highsec and try to kid yourself that you are safer there.

Why not join someone like Goonswarm? Just contact one of our keen recruiters!

Tanking a hulk simply means it takes 2 dessies to pop instead of one, and as far as paying attention for the most part I do,. which is why I have a second monitor. However I also have to children who take priority, Simply put a child starts Crying or gets hurt,.. you dont worry about docking before taking care of the child. With the right skills being afk in a mission with an active stable tank is less likely to get get you popped than a few minutes afk in a hulk. Making mining rather a pointed waste of time for me.

Perhaps you should pay attention to your children instead of being a semi-afk parent?

I mean, maybe that kid wouldn't have got hurt if you weren't so obsessed with dancing frenetically for peanuts in a virtual world?

7 to 10 dessies. Why waste that many on a single hulk for no profit when you can gank 7-10 fools?

Let's go ahead and assume he doesn't.

Now, explain how he is wrong.

Official Recruiter for GoonSwarm Corporation.

If you paid isk to get into GoonSwarm, you were probably scammed.  If you had the foresight to save the name of your scammer, let me know and I'll do what I can to help you.

No. This idea has been brought up many times & is always shot down, because it is a stupid idea. You want respecs, go play an MMO that will cater to it.

Because It doesnt matter what you do,.. children being children, especially in my case where I have two. Sibling Rivalry being what it is they will always manage to get hurt,.. or start crying because one decides to take a toy from the other. I could give a million other examples but I wont you get the point. At which point you are forced to drop whatever is you are ingaged in to see to their needs.

I think they should just increase the hitpoints on exhumers. For example, a Hulk with 3k HP each for structure, armor, and shields. Maybe a bit more powergrid and CPU.

I'm not sure why people propose huge game mechanic changes. Just balance the exhumers.

A more tankable hulk would definatly be a solution. However we all know that is never going to happen either.
