Against a drake - easily this. However, I'd never go for a roam in an armor fitted Hurric.... toooo slooooooooow.

Indeed, Nano cane would be the way to go there, unless lowsec.

Nano cane can beat a drake too, just takes more work, and a bit more overheat usually.

Now give me 100 Mil, as I have pretty much \threaded this thing.

tbf pretty much everyone has posted ships that will beat that fit regularly so he would be giving everyone 100m......maybe he needs to trade/mine/mission more to get enough isk

I have already beat a drake setup like that with this fit on the test server and it wasn't even a contest. held him on a single repper. when fighting with a drake, go nano or go ham. don't try to brawl with HMLs, you just look sad

Funny that you'd say that. That's actually what spawned this thread. See, I took a little break from EVE and when I came back, they had things like tier 3 battlecruisers in the game. I fitted one up something like this:

Highs:
8x Neutron blaster cannon II + void

Mids:
10mn Microwarpdrive II
Warp scrambler II
Fleeting propulsion inhibitor
Sensor booster II

Lows:

1600mm reinforced rolled tungsten

2x Magnetic field stabilizer II.

I tossed my alt in the original post's drake setup, and flew to a safe spot, flipped a can and figured my Talos would tear the drake to shreds before the drake could get through the Talos' meager armor hitpoints.

It didn't.

Not only did it not beat the drake, it wasn't even close. Turns out my alt with nearly maxed heavy missile/HAM skills is quite formidable. So, I did some more tests, including armor buffer harbies and hurricanes which also failed, and decided to post this thread to see what kinds of setups people thought could beat it.
