I think my parents are happy that they raised someone who can separate a game from reality and that has the mental maturity to partake healthily in groups that he enjoys and avoid ones that he doesn`t.

Now raging like an idiot on a video game forum, that`s something your granma will brag about at her bridge game.

Folks, CCP has made it clear that they the direction that their ex-goon (or not ex-goon) lead developer is taking with the game is the path that they want Eve to go down.

There may be tons of people within the corporation who think this is madness, but clearly they are not policy nor decision-makers.

Whether soundwave is collaborating directly with the in-game null sec zealots, or they just co-incidentally are following parallel paths is irrelevant. The fact remains that due to their inaction in stopping the on-going campaign against high sec, CCP management is giving their tacit agreement to the vision of the game that the cfc, csm and soundwave share.

No amount of screaming on the forums will do any good.
No amount of in-game protesting will do any good.
No amount of not logging on will do any good.
No amount of threatening to unsub will do any good.

The only reason that CCP listened last year re: Nex was because the major alliances screamed blue murder.
The only reason that CCP listened this year re: UI was because the POS owners in null sec went nuts.
CCP does listen to those groups.
CCP does NOT listen to high sec groups.

So, there is only two options for high sec players: You can shut up and accept whatever scraps are left when soundwave and mittens are done with high sec, or you can shut up and actually let your accounts lapse.

The 2nd option is the ONLY way you can show your displeasure.
If you have a cell phone or cable TV service that became unacceptable to you, you would go to customer service and scream. That is the equivalent to these forums. If the company providing that service did not listen, or openly mocked you, you would discontinue that service as quickly as possible. (always a treat with multi-year contracts).

So all the people fighting the good fight on the forums have to make a decision.
Do you recognize that CCP is not changing the direction the game is going, and decide even with the annihilation of high sec, the game gives you good value for your money, and you will continue to subscribe.

Or do you decide that , no, the game no longer gives me enjoyment for my money, and I don't want to play the game that the null sec zealots are creating, and cease to subscribe.

My personal decision was that I am lapsing all but one account. After a brutal day in real world, even with all the attacks on high sec, the game has not quite reached the "more pain that pleasure" point , but I certainly have had the amount of joy I get from the game reduced to a level that running multiple accounts has no point. Maybe after soundwave nerfs L4 missions that will be the breaking point for me. I don't know yet.

I know people are un-subbing. I have seen it in my own in-game corp. But it takes time for the 6 month and 12 month subs to run out and the impact felt. Maybe when that impact is felt, CCP will recognize this was the wrong path.

But until then, give up posting on the forums. The only thing CCP cares about is your monthly sub.

Didn't read, assuming tears.

I've spoken to your mother and I beg to differ. She in fact is very concerned you CANNOT seperate a game from reality, and have become totally absorbed in a fantasy world, so much so you didnt even notice me creepin out her room last night.

I for one am appalled - yes, appalled! - that a historically PvE-centric game like Eve, in which the tradition has been since launch that any sign of griefing, scamming, non-consensual PvP or the slightest hint of interfering with harmless mining bots has been cracked down on with instant perma-bans, should now be heading in this direction. Before soon, I strongly suspect that thoughtless, selfish people will even stop asking permission to duel on the undock and simply open fire without so much as a by-your-leave. Dark days, indeed.

Thank God that we have the OP, and three characters on all four of his accounts, to post endless streams of threads about how unfair this is, and how upset it makes him. Good, honest people like him - willing to post tirelessly and emotionally in complaints at their treatment at our hands - are what makes this game worth playing.

You post this in a thread from a high sec player whining about low/null sec imbalance? Your irony is impressive.

The most spectacular irony of all this is that both sides of this are whining and crying just as loudly as each other, about the fact that the other side is whining and crying.

The only reason I unsub in protest is when the break the game. The people playing within the rules I have no problems with.

Funny I always thought CCP's main aim was to make money. Hence the Nex store that NO player of this game wanted (Or if any did the straight Jacket made it hard for them to type)

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

goons would start shooting rifters on their main with neutral alts constantly

never underestimate the ability of goons to find the loophole and drive a dumptruck through it

That's why any decent bounty system has to be a percentage of damages done. I.E., 10%.

Goons Hulkageddon bounties are a percentage of the market value of what they're paying to have destroyed.

Paying for kills (like Mr. Millionaire in the C&P forum) is dumb, on a Captain Obvious level.

Actually it would help to an extent but on an economic level like hulkagedon, Hi-sec is the largest market, so it is the one that has to be manipulated to maximize profits.

Bingo. Any credibility the OP might (note the use of "might") have had vanished with this ad hom attack, as, joyously, it also actually signaled that he felt he was losing the argument.

Good sir of high sec. I suggest you are the type who are ruining high sec. You want to fundamentally change what IS is and always has been. Take off your diaper and grow up a little. Let some fresh air circulate around your stale sweaty genitalia and don't be such a blue ball ****.
