Answer my concern?

No, it would not. To me it is irrelevant who blobbed first, or who is doing the blobbing now. I'm not placing blame for the phenomena with any specific entity or collection of such. Heck, you can blame me, outnumbering or at least outpowering the opponent was par for the course (=not always, but normal) since the start, and always will be.

The issue is that w-space mechanics no longer act as a deterrent to large scale actions, by w-space standards. This was always inevitable as more and more people become accustomed to and willing to put forth the effort involved in moving larger groups around, as corps and then alliances became organized enough to include more and more people in ops with regularity.

The one and only thing which could reverse the course, would be a change in the environment, as in the game mechanics that make up w-space.

As that is extremely unlikely with *small gang not being a focus of CCP's, then I shall continue to lament the ever larger scale of conflict in w-space, and I shall certainly correct anyone who tries to deny the blob, even if they're a generally well meaning amicable fellow, like Zyb.

*(small is less then 10 in my book, small means every single ship matters, every single ship can affect the outcome, which isn't true in 50 man gangs, probably not in 20 man gangs even)

there's no mechanics to prevent large fleet moving anywhere when everybody and their grandmother fly T3s.

the smallest fleet you find from large entity will be 10

Yes, but it's the mere existence of large entities that Qui is talking about -- and "everyone and their mother" flying T3s was not the norm as little as 18months ago.

A year ago BUGRY could field a small gang of battlecruisers (perhaps the odd command ship T2 cruiser) and expect to get results - it's now quite often T3 or GTFO.

Make of that what you will, but the power projection of large WH groups only gets stronger month by month, and battlereports regularly show 30-50billion killed.

I would be a quit-vet if not for w-space. I joined up because, having done nigh everything else in Eve (mining, missions, big fleets, small fleets, merc, industrial ****, market ****) I was bored. I joined one corp, and then followed a splinter sect out which became CERS.

Like many others have said, it's the thrill of the hunt. The setup is often more taxing than the actual kill. The rare fleet fight where we and the enemy size each other up and engage is downright incredible. Love it. Hats off to the corps that bring it.

WH corps don't want a guy who logs on and says "whats happening?" -- we want people to log on and be able to help make it happen.

This. Pure and simple. If you can't, or aren't willing to create your own opportunities, WH life isn't for you and you will get kicked out of any decent WH corp if you aren't contributing. Nothing worse than the leach that never does anything until they hear "plexing" and suddenly shows up in a bling PVE Tengu. And yet is the same guy that can only field some **** BC when PVP comes up because it's "all they have" or are "poor". Lol

I will also say I think that the organizational level required to have a successful roam fleet is gets higher every day. But what/who you encounter all depends on where you dive. There are still plenty "less skilled" wh dwellers out there to educate. Big smile

Bottom Line: It is much easier to "blend in" in 0.0 than WH's because in w-space the weak get culled from the herd one way or another.
